Thanks all, you are very kind. Unfortunately mother could do with mh helP herself (bad marriage longer than my issues) and doesnt believe in mh issues.

Sleep well all.

Oh lordy, that'll be fun. Confused Maybe you can set the chaplain on her and leave them to it? Grin

Hope everyone sleeps well. New day tomorrow.

ThisIsANiceCage · 22/02/2011 10:36

Mornin' guys. Hope everyone's had some good rest.

Another grey grey day here: where the hell's that sunshine I ordered?

shodatin · 22/02/2011 10:45

Hello again - it's a very miserable, grey morning here yet again, with addition of fog as a bit of a change.
Snowmash, hope today's easier for you.
TIANC - hope your box arrives soon.

ThisIsANiceCage · 22/02/2011 10:48

(Tis metaphorical box of sunshine, shodatin: would you like some too? I ordered the deluxe model, with blue skies and warmth...)

shodatin · 22/02/2011 10:59

Thanks TIANC, I frequently miss the metaphorical these days.
This is my first day of Morning Pages, so brain might be still catching up. Unfortunately, I have some ordinary old catching up to do, so will be away for a few hours.

ThisIsANiceCage · 22/02/2011 11:00

Here, have a Brew to go.

madmouse · 22/02/2011 12:12

Hi everyone - just checking in to say hello

snowmash · 22/02/2011 12:32

Hi everyone. I hope you get the sun you ordered! (or other boxes)

OP posts:
ThisIsANiceCage · 22/02/2011 12:46

Still waiting! Did you get any? Wink

snowmash · 22/02/2011 13:14

No - sorry youre still waiting. I'm hoping for a doctor I can ask what's going on.

OP posts:
ThisIsANiceCage · 22/02/2011 13:35

Grey all round then, today... Oh well.

Hope you've eaten - I've just had bread and butter.

snowmash · 22/02/2011 13:42

Cheese n potato pie

OP posts:
shodatin · 22/02/2011 14:13

Love cheese and potato pie, but yesterday my Thai friend was here and brought me noodles with chicken and veg, usual one to eat, one to freeze, so I'm very happy with today's food. Hope it was good snowmash, and I hope your next meal is better TIANC...

ThisIsANiceCage · 22/02/2011 14:21

Mmm, cheese n = yummy!

shodatin that sounds lovely - both the food and the thought! What a cracking friend.

snowmash · 22/02/2011 14:26

That does sound lovely shodatin! Hope your next meal is more solid tianc

OP posts:
shodatin · 22/02/2011 14:47

Yes, a lovely friend too, am very lucky. It never occurred to me before that making chicken stock might look a bit strange to a foreigner, or that ordinary old Eve's Pudding might be an exotic experience. We are both learning new skills and techniques, having
similar interests.

ThisIsANiceCage · 22/02/2011 15:15

I will if you will, snowmash. Wink

shodatin · 22/02/2011 15:39

What a good idea TIANC!
Seriously, snowmash does need to eat properly,(a packet of Hovis biscuits is not real food imo, and TIANC I hope you'll be feeling like having a proper meal later today.

snowmash · 22/02/2011 17:55

I feel not trusted a little. My meds are being changed to liquid (but dr x did explain it was so they could make sure I was taking them).

Pixielovescake · 22/02/2011 17:58

I am anxious because liquid medicines are very expensive :( I used to have them when I couldn't swallow so I know. :(

I hope the twins get over this particular teething soon pixie - my dn is similar.

The dr will see me again next tuesday. What can I do about the expensive medicines?

OP posts:
ThisIsANiceCage · 22/02/2011 19:01

Take them until the doctor trusts you. Then you'll go back on the cheaper ones.

ThisIsANiceCage · 22/02/2011 19:03

It's that "escape forwards" thing.
