Hi guys, in haste as off out for 'granny food' at the 'in-laws now.

Orangeflutie I just want to offer you a huge hug.

Got to go, DH is nagging...

orangeflutie · 17/10/2010 11:48

arcadia it's great you and your DP have managed to have a chat to try and sort things out. It isn't easy with children is it? They're lovely but fitting in time out for you becomes quite a challenge. It's lovely you and DD went swimming this morning.

I'm finding I'm really stretched timewise at the moment and constantly trying to catch up. I wanted to remember James yesterday but life still goes on as my middle DD had a party to go to yesterday afternoon aswell.

My eldest DD is going to a rollerskating party at 1pm today and then she needs picking up later so Sunday is a bit broken up. I'm then scurrying around in between trying to do ironing (deep joy) and everything else that needs doing before Monday!

Sleep is so important just to be able to function when life's so busy. In answer to your question the other day I think I could still wake up when I started taking Dosulepin if my DDs needed me at night so hope you can get things sorted xx

arcadia96 · 17/10/2010 20:05

Hi all, hope you had an OK time at the in-laws Becky!

Thanks orangeflutie, I think that the dosulepin is a little milder than mirtazapine, so the Dr may go for that one, hopefully.

I have felt absolutely terrible this weekend, so anxious like I have been punched in the stomach. It's bizarre, I haven't felt like this for ages. Even when I first had DD and was in a wierd PTSD kind of state I didn't feel quite this consciously anxious.

I have a lot resting on this appointment on Tuesday. Hopefully the Dr will be sensible. it's difficult having not met him before, but maybe that is a good thing as neither of us will have preconceptions.

BeckyBendyLegs · 18/10/2010 09:58

Arcadia I hope you are ok. I know that feeling of being punched in the stomach and it isn't nice at all. I've had that on and off.

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.

arcadia96 · 18/10/2010 11:50

Thanks Becky, hope I'm not freaking you out, and hope you're still sleeping well. I'll report back on how it goes at the doctors tomorrow.

I had a bad night partly due to DD being awake from about 4.30 til nearly 6. Luckily she's in nursery today so I've just had an hour's kip and am back in my pyjamas (though she really cried when I dropped her at nursery today Sad).

Hope everyone is OK.

GetDownYouWillFall · 18/10/2010 12:41

Sorry about your bad night arcadia Hope it goes well at the dr.s tomorrow.

I am doing a test tomorrow

madmouse · 18/10/2010 13:06

Hi all

Arcadia thinking of you - it will get better xx

Getdown can't wait for test result xx

Hi Becky thanks for the birthday wishes. You didn't know my birthday was coming up? What's the point of me writing long rambling posts then on here sigh - lol Wink. I did mention it a few days ago when dh took me shopping for some very beautiful jewellery because I had fought so hard and come so far.

I'm at work and wearing my new necklace Smile

Sleep is chaotic but not bad and I feel a bit less tired.

x

Happy birthday madmouse, what is your new piece of jewellery like?

madmouse · 18/10/2010 13:13

Thanks Getdown - a white gold necklace with a cross and a little diamond.

It also celebrates my faith in the Lord which is really deepening again Smile (need to tell you about that at some point)

sounds gorgeous, and double significance too!

Lots of love xxx

BeckyBendyLegs · 18/10/2010 14:17

Sorry Madmouse for missing it was your birthday coming up - my brain is so full of so many things at the mo. - work, DSs, holiday next week (eeek), sponsored read, dinner money, harvest festival this week, shopping for wellies, ahhh list goes on. I'm such a dizzy person in the real world.

GetDown oooooh exciting!

Madmouse your necklace sounds really lovely :)

orangeflutie · 18/10/2010 16:12

Hi everyone

Just checking in as have been out all day.

Happy Birthday madmouse! x

Off out again now to get an ingredient for dinner. Will come on again later.

orangeflutie · 18/10/2010 21:25

arcadia Good luck at the doctors tomorrow.

I'm seeing mine tomorrow too, hope I remember all I need to tell her.

Goodnight everyone x

arcadia96 · 18/10/2010 21:31

Hi orangeflutie thanks I just made a big list of things I want to mention to mine! Hope yours goes OK too. No doubt I'll be back on here tomorrow with lots of questions for those of you with experience if I get prescribed the dopethein or the mirtazapine. Am hoping for some diazepam too just to keep me going. Feel like a right junkie! Smile.

Happy birthday madmouse! x

BeckyBendyLegs · 19/10/2010 07:13

Good luck today arcadia and you too orangeflutie.

Positive vibes to you GetDown!

I've had a restless night - this is fairly normal though for me when I am sleeping. At least I am sleeping, I am very grateful for that.

madmouse · 19/10/2010 08:17

Getdown thinking of you - sorry wasn't awake early enough to pray this morning. went to bed far too late.

Sleep seems deeper though and I feel less shattered. My friend who came with flowers last night was delighted seeing me look happier and more peaceful than I've been for weeks Smile

How's everyone else?

thank you!

Feel a bit blown away TBH. DH is dead chuffed.

I just cannot believe it worked on first cycle of trying.....

arcadia96 · 19/10/2010 08:44

Noooooooo way!!!!!!!!! Can't believe it GetDown! That's so exciting! Grin How do you feel?

GetDownYouWillFall · 19/10/2010 08:46

a bit sick..... but may be just the nerves and the fact I hardly slept at all last night!

Woke up at 4am desperate for a wee, but kept thinking "must hold on, must hold on, I need that wee to test!!!"

Am in a bit of a daze....

madmouse · 19/10/2010 08:48

Getdown as we talked about before this means you don't have to expend precious mental energy in getting anxious about conceiving and you have minimal time to worry about how you will cope with a baby and sleep etc...Smile

OP posts:
GetDownYouWillFall · 19/10/2010 08:51

yes, that's true, think DH was hoping on a few more months of .... well.... you know....

madmouse · 19/10/2010 08:54

you don't have to stop trying just because you've succeeded at the first attempt! Grin Wink
