Ended up on 1030 today and 42gcarbs. Had some cheese and dark choc. Also met friend for lunch and unsure how to calorie my spinach omelette - I’m going with 3 eggs and 10mls of oil? U think that’s a normal cafe sized amount to use???

This week hasn't been great... was away with work.... managed with a 379 calorie salad and a g&t Wednesday night.

Thursday wasn't great. Had scrambled eggs for breakfast in hotel so started by ruining my fast window. I then skipped lunch and worked all day. By 6pm I felt sick and faint and completely stressed out by work so I ended up having a chicken burger at the pub with a large glass of red wine. I didn't eat the bun but the chips made me feel instantly better and reminded me how good white carbs can be.

Was good all day yesterday until I finally made it home. I'm off next week and I've been looking forward to a week with the kids since Easter. It's all ruined because a case I've been working on for 21 months at work is going south fast so I've got meetings next week and will probably need to cancel leave entirely next Friday. I was so stressed, upset and just wanting to be with my DH and DC that I ordered us all an Indian takeaway and shared a whole bottle of wine with DH. I don't even feel guilty.

The positive in this tedious tale of woe is it was sweltering at work last week so I was very grateful to be 10lb lighter.

I'm getting back on it today and am going to be very strict.

@FairyCakeSprinkles done worry . Sounds like a tough few days. U have been so good ..and lost a great amount of weight. I don’t think many people can sustain being good for weeks on end main thing is we get back on it asap!

as said before I basically finished the biscuit tin and maybe had some icecream too…feeling guilty about it so back on today

Weigh in this morning and 3lbs off taking total to 17lbs since 13th June.

Had a blip on Wednesday at a works do, far too much Prosecco, think some of my weight loss is dehydration..

On holiday from next Friday so aiming to semi pause the 800 cals a day for the week. Trick will be getting back into the fasting habit when I get back.

Now at 12.3st with an aim to get to 11.2st by October.

Impressive 10 pound weight loss - I ended up somehow putting on weight during the heatwave!
i’ve put on a couple of stone over the last year, due to stress, life events, etc.
Have an event in 3 weeks, would love to attend feeling a bit like the old me - so ready to start the fast 800 keto plan!
Planning to get some fresh air in a bit, but will fuel up beforehand.
great reading everyone’s posts - very motivating!

So happy to be joining you on the thread. Have been ignoring my weight for 5 years and horrified but not shocked to find out I’m over well over 13 stone. Going on hol in 8 weeks and starting Fast800 tomorrow.

GW: 147

If I can lose a stone by end of Sept I’ll be so happy and have a chance of fitting in some of my gorgeous holiday clothes that won’t get near me right now. Plan to get back on it post holiday with 5:2. Can’t have another bloody year of telling myself I’ll make a change.

Ugh, I haven’t really lost any weight this week, just going up and down by the same pound every day. The booze has been creeping back in, a couple of wines or g&ts each night. So far I have been ok with food but I am getting a bit sick of chicken and salad!

My partner is off work this week so I can escape to the gym with the kids home so hopefully that will help. I can feel myself getting so close to hitting the fuck it button but I still have over 2 stone to lose. Hope you’re all doing a bit better!

@clare8allthepies no don’t do that!!! U r doing amazingly! It’s normal to feel like that maybe have a few days off (I know that’s naughty) and then weigh urself the gain will re kick u into starting!? U can do this

i have been mad this weekend. Had a similar feeling to u @clare8allthepies . I’ve eaten cake drunk wine and been out for dinner: but I got back on yest and on it today. Promising myself to just do it consistently this week no days off and not weigh until end of week.

Going badly here! Our fridge freezer has broken, well the freezer compartment is working but fridge completely useless. It’s just made diet too difficult. We have borrowed a small fridge and popped it in the garage, hoping to get a new one within a week. I usually use John Lewis but they are being a bit crap, looking at AO. It’s completely thrown me, hated throwing out food that spoilt.

I will just muddle along for now. Sorry guys not very inspirational from me!

It's my WI day. I've lost 1lb which I think is very fair after takeaway, pub visit, alcohol and being way down on exercise where it was so hot.

I'm supposed to be on it this week as only three WIs until my holiday but I know I'm going to find it difficult. Like everyone else on this thread I'm struggling with wanting to socialise, do things with kids etc.

I'd say so @Jibbajabba1. I did... very hungry and a bit out of sorts. I had to cheat and had a few Fruitella zero sugar sweets / handful of nuts to get me through the hunger pangs and feeling weak the first few days. I figured it was better to do that than abandon it all together.

Thanks for the reassurance @FairyCakeSprinkles! Almost decided to pack it in today as just feeling so yuck, weak and weirdly, it’s exacerbating my anxiety! Hoping it fades in a day or two. Great tip too, I’ve decided to be more lenient until I get into the swing of it, enjoying a snack of extra nuts and olives now, with a rose flavoured kombucha in a champagne flute 😁

@Jibbajabba1 i think suddenly going to 800 cals is very hard. I certainly didn’t manage it for a good few weeks but I lost most of my weight on 1000 which is so much more manageable. I’ve been messing around having too many days off so am now cutting down to 800 so compensate and finding it more doable. Well done for keeping going!

Another 800 day planned today! Sorry not done a wed weigh in- I find the losses are making me think it’s ok to have a break but I’m still far from target ! Will weigh on sat I think!

@Jibbajabba1, there are some real purists out there who will tell you 'you can't eat this, you can't have that' and that obviously works for them but you have to do what works for you.

So far I've managed to lose 11lb in 5 weeks. That's very good for me (i'm a tortoise) but there have definitely been slips ups in those 5 weeks. I just think it's better to accept that and get back on the wagon than take any wavering from the diet as an indication that you can't do it so shouldn't bother trying.
