This week hasn't been great... was away with work.... managed with a 379 calorie salad and a g&t Wednesday night.
Thursday wasn't great. Had scrambled eggs for breakfast in hotel so started by ruining my fast window. I then skipped lunch and worked all day. By 6pm I felt sick and faint and completely stressed out by work so I ended up having a chicken burger at the pub with a large glass of red wine. I didn't eat the bun but the chips made me feel instantly better and reminded me how good white carbs can be.
Was good all day yesterday until I finally made it home. I'm off next week and I've been looking forward to a week with the kids since Easter. It's all ruined because a case I've been working on for 21 months at work is going south fast so I've got meetings next week and will probably need to cancel leave entirely next Friday. I was so stressed, upset and just wanting to be with my DH and DC that I ordered us all an Indian takeaway and shared a whole bottle of wine with DH. I don't even feel guilty.
The positive in this tedious tale of woe is it was sweltering at work last week so I was very grateful to be 10lb lighter.
I'm getting back on it today and am going to be very strict.
