You guys have made amazing progress! Thanks for showing me it’s worth sticking to! Started researching ‘keto flu’ and how apparently once that phase is over, people start feeling really good, energetic and less cravings! Focusing on that kicking in!

Zott · 27/07/2022 14:59

Lost 3 lbs this week, very surprised as I have had carbs (fridge broke and had to go off piste).

SW 11st 3 lbs
CW 10st 12 lbs

Its taken 3 weeks to lose 5 lbs but I have been up and down in those 3 weeks.

Salmon for dinner yesterday and today, courgettes in veg patch so eating lots of those roasted in olive oil.

Well done @FairyCakeSprinkles in losing 11 lbs and welcome @Jibbajabba1 .

Jibbajabba1 · 27/07/2022 15:54

Well done @Zott! 🥳

Looking forward to a dinner of spinach and garlic soup, with roasted courgette and mozzarella! And Greek yogurt for dessert ✨

As I’m so used to usually having lots of bread and lashings of butter with soup, I’ve found swirling in a spoon of Boursin cream cheese - and extra chilli flakes - a really good way of maximising the flavour so I don’t feel like I’m ‘missing out’

Addidas · 27/07/2022 16:04

Closing on 950 and 20 carbs. Not ideal but carbs were low at least.

Addidas · 27/07/2022 16:04

Well done @Zott amszing considering what’s been going on for u

Zott · 27/07/2022 16:44

Thanks @Addidas you are always so supportive. Hoping rest of the summer is blissfully full.

FairyCakeSprinkles · 27/07/2022 18:47

Well done @Zott, that's a great loss.

clare8allthepies · 27/07/2022 20:32

Well done everyone, hope that you’re over the feeling crappy bit @Jibbajabba1. I’ve decided to have a break for a while. My partner is off work this week so we’re going out and about every day, we are visiting family next week and then on holiday the week after that. I’m going to (attempt to) eat fairly healthily and not go nuts. We will see how that goes 🤣

Fingers crossed with plenty of exercise I won’t put on too much then once the holidays are over I’m planning on another month or so super strict.

Jibbajabba1 · 27/07/2022 20:50

Sounds lovely @clare8allthepies! Enjoy your time off 🌞

Addidas · 28/07/2022 09:16

@clare8allthepies have a good reset. I had one when I was doing my weight loss in June before fast 800. I went on holiday for a week and I stuck to low carbs . So lots of fish veg eggs and sausage for brekkie. I drank a few glasses of wine too and had one small pudding a day. I rem running away from the choc croissants at brekkie !!!

i did put on 3 pounds but if I had had pizza chips and cake every day would have been more like 7! Enjoy ur break

today
yoghurt and mushed apricots and Rasberries (baby didn’t like this combo so I shall be having some purée fruit on my yoghurt!)
Home made Sharwama chicken with mixed veg
snacks - ham and cheese rolls

850 and 24 carbs

Zott · 28/07/2022 11:54

Just reread my last post, I meant to say hope the rest of my summer is blissfully dull not full!

@clare8allthepies have a lovely break.

Bf Coffee
Lunch roast tomatoes, garlic and red onion
Dinner portobello mushrooms, courgettes and chicken breast

Addidas · 30/07/2022 07:43

Well I’ve managed to put on 1.5 pounds. Not impressed. It is time of month but usually I don’t loose not gain. was super good too.
back to 11.4.2.

Jibbajabba1 · 30/07/2022 09:35

Perhaps it’s the changes in the weather/air pressure, mine always goes up around that time, especially when I’m stressed and/or eating more salt or if my allergies are playing up. You’re doing well, you’ve got this 🦾

Going away for a week, so determined to stick to this when away. Today, aiming to get out for some exercise, have Greek yoghurt for dessert, cheese topped mushrooms, and a tomato or watercress soup to look forward to🥣

Addidas · 01/08/2022 07:58

I’ve had a couple days break. I didn’t go crazy but I just switched off from it all. I’m now totally up for going for it.

imnottoofussed · 02/08/2022 21:31

I've been doing this for three weeks and lost 8lb so am very pleased, however ordered the free gusto box and gone off track completely. Just introducing starchy carbs for one day made me absolutely ravenous. Will be glad when I've finished the food and can get back to plan on Thursday. Hoping to not have put any weight on.

Jibbajabba1 · 03/08/2022 07:53

Great progress @imnottoofussed! And thank you for reminding us what happens with starch my veg/carbs - I’m shocked at how full i feel with this way of eating!
away at the moment - so not as strict as I’d like - but have stuck to the principles, aiming today to include more veg:
black coffee
milky tea
mushroom soup
greek yoghurt and berries
lentil curry over salad

we’ve got this!

FairyCakeSprinkles · 03/08/2022 08:36

Hello! Busy week so only just checking in with a WI. Down 1.5lb which takes me to 12.5lb in six weeks. I'm am happy with that but wondering when I will see the stone!!

Have guests this weekend as part of a big birthday bash. It's going to be a disaster diet wise which will definitely keep me from that stone I'm chasing.

Jibbajabba1 · 03/08/2022 11:21

I haven’t weighed myself at all - earlier in the year when I checked it to see how much I’d put on it, it shocked me so much that it put me off even starting to do something constructive about it - weird I know!
hoping to start seeing the results soon instead - or maybe I’ll muster up the courage to weigh myself in a couple of weeks when hopefully the number won’t be so shockingly high

Zott · 03/08/2022 17:03

I have stayed the same. Not surprised as I have been struggling with meal planning with just a small fridge. New fridge freezer is up and running today (so happy) and I’ve just done a good shop with lots of salad and veg.

Dinner is chicken and salad.

FairyCakeSprinkles · 03/08/2022 17:50

That is very restrained @Jibbajabba1, you are right in what you say because weighing can be demotivating when you put on a bit and even when you lose it can make you lose focus. I couldn't avoid the temptation though!

@Zott, a stay the same is good when you've had such a hard time of things. At least you aren't having to lose weight you'd already lost all over again.

Addidas · 03/08/2022 19:09

I’ve also stayed the same this week after my ridicolous totally off plan weekend. Well I had gained that 1.5 but I’ve lost that. So the same as last week!!!

Good today though 890 and 20g carbs

tmrw is feta salad
pork chops with brocolli. I will weigh less next Wednesday weigh in!

Addidas · 04/08/2022 07:24

Scales moved.

sw 12
cw 11.1.8
total loss 12.2 pounds on 6 weeks (with some noticeable weekends and days off and weeekends away).
bmi now under 25!

next stop one stone so I’m with you @FairyCakeSprinkles !

Zott · 04/08/2022 14:04

@Addidas well done on getting into the normal bmi range.

Breakfast coffee
Lunch quail eggs, Serrano ham, tomatoes, salad leaves
Dinner salmon, feta, tomatoes, cucumber, salad leaves
