ace, have you tried not eating breakfast?
Everybody is different, some of us on here fine pushing on through until lunch, some not. My own experience is that if I "wake up" my gut with food in morning, will get rumbles and hunger pangs mid-morning. If have a black coffee, feel like I did ingest something (rather than nothing) but don't get hunger pangs and can hold on to midday easily.
If you can push through to lunch, then you get two decent meals in 8-hour window between 12 noon and 8 PM (or 1 PM and 9 PM, etc.) instead of three small ones in longer window.
Psychologically you may want food, but physiologically you probably don't need it - it's because we all have excess reserves of fat on which we can draw for energy that we're doing this anyway!
