sybilfaulty, nobiggy - it really works, doesn't it?! Well done on keeping with it. Don't get hung up on distance at this stage, just focus on the times you are running to build up your stamina, and you can worry about speeding it up later. The best advice I was given was to take it gently, then you won't end up with stitches and aches & pains and be put off taking it further.
Hiya Raffiiscool - I got bored with Robert and Helium Suz too (made it to week 9 but have had to ease off a little recently due to somewhat dodgy left knee). Now that you don't need someone telling you when to stop and start running you can download your own running mix. I found the track listing for a 5-CD set of running music and just downloaded the songs - I'll see if I can remember where I found it.
wohmum - yay! You did the big one! It's downhill from here (running-wise, I mean).
MABS you are truly a superwoman. Personal Trainers scare the s**t out of me.
Anyway, the good news here is that my knee is slooowly getting better. I've found that leaving three-day intervals between runs is enough to allow it to recover; went out this morning and did 20 minutes with only a slight ache afterwards, and it has gone now. Will try to fit in a run on Thursday morning if my head isn't too full of holiday planning.
