Another thread to keep going!

Well done, BezMills! And great to see Oubliette back. I can’t run 5k in that time even without a broken toe.

T25 Speed 1.0 done. I could claim to have had a few days off because of the bruises from last weekend, but actually it wouldn’t be true, they weren’t that bad. I just had a lot on at work and was knackered. I won’t count this week in my T25 progress, I’ll start week 4 again on Sunday.

Thank god this week is over! Short run this evening and now I'm opening a bottle of wine. Happy weekend everyone

Right, I’ve started week 4 again (starting today as I’m going to need to skip Monday, I have to get DD off for her school trip at 6.30a.m. and then I have an evening thing after work). T25 Alpha cardio done. It’s not getting any easier!

@ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson good for you getting after it! It's so hard to juggle everything isn't it

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 07/07/2024 08:37

Thanks, @BezMills! Not half as impressive as your efforts.

T25 total body focus done. Far too many plank and push-up variations and I’m still having to modify some of them. Now off to work out what DD needs for a week in Normandy.

I ran the same route as last week, and it felt much harder. But then my time was 29 min 05sec - more than a minute faster than last week.

BezMills · 08/07/2024 13:26

it's so funny how some runs feel harder or easier, and it's not always correlated with performance!

I did BodyCombat 99 yesterday, and got to 99 for the year too. This pleases me.

S&c. Very nearly didn't go after a horrible night of too little sleep and a day of too much to get through but glad I did.

Nice piece of symmetry there, Bez.

T25 Lower Focus done, and my legs feel a bit wobbly. But I wouldn’t have any excuses for not getting on with it this week; DD is away with school till Friday so the home workload is much reduced.

Good for you Motherforkin - in the same circumstances I all too often bail out.

roonetta · 09/07/2024 19:39

Nat Hayward 30 minute strength workout done ✅

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 10/07/2024 07:22

T25 ab intervals done.

3 mile WWL done. DD has broken up from college already so I have a bit more free time in the morning on my WFH days. Will try and use it wisely

Family birthday yesterday so cake instead of exercise! S&c today.

Hopefully the holidays make everything a bit easier for everyone to get what we want done 💪

I cbf doing Pilates today, bit of a slump day for some reason. I'll definitely be doing BodyCombat tomorrow anyway.

Boxercise on Monday took me to 100

Imfreetofeelgood · 10/07/2024 20:17

Mon - 11 mile dog walk and 1 hour pilates class
Tuesday - 3 mile dog walk
Wednesday - 1 hour pilates class

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 11/07/2024 07:25

T25 Speed1.0 finished. That’s the end of week 4, on to week 5 at the weekend.

Well done on getting to 100 Bez!

Posting now so I have to go for a run when if I eventually finish work...

45 x 25m swim

BezMills · 12/07/2024 06:04

I have a sore back (see that's what happens when you skip Pilates!) so did Combat anyway, obvs, but strictly no jumping and did a lot of things at low option or even half speed. It's still a good workout even at that.

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 13/07/2024 11:34

I have a sore back too (haven’t been able to get to Pilates for a couple of weeks: the class is on Friday morning so I can only get to it if I’m working at home and not too busy). T25 stretch and a skating lesson today - no yoga as the teacher is away.

Ouch, hope the backs are better soon.

I had a very disappointing number of steps round a theme park yesterday (only 11k) so I won't count it. S&c was hampered by a mild hanging this morning.

OP posts:
ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 14/07/2024 08:38

I love the idea of a mild hanging!

My back seems to be improving- I think the week at work wasn’t good for it but a couple of days off have helped. T25 Total Body Focus (the one with the evil push-up variations) done, and week 5 started. Next week I need to get going on Beta, which is not an attractive thought.

Ha, that's a very Freudian typo alright Professor 😂

I see him on Instagram a lot, good to know he's actually good, Bez.

Really busy weekend so i only got a short run this evening. It was much better than I expected.
