I didn’t make it out running on Monday as I wasn’t at work (bank holiday). However, I went out with one of the regular running groups who were doing a timed mile. I did it in 7 min 33 sec. Which I think is reasonable given the course is very hilly, and no one enjoys running up hills.

3 mile dog walk - achilles and calf giving me problems today. Though fine in the house,and fine yesterday. I might have to give in and ask for physio referral. It's frustrating that it's much improved, but not consistently.

Yes, it's Jillian Michaels - Shred is pretty old now but very effective. You do have to be careful with some of the abdominal exercises in L2 and L3, though.

Goodness I remember when everyone on here was WILD for the 30 day shred! Blast from the past.

I'm just back from a 45 minute walk in the woods. Still managing at least 10k steps a day every day. And my foot injury is managing with that alongside parkrun. Considering a different course for Saturday morning but will see how weather/foot is.

Super stressy work day so I managed a short run (in baking heat, 22c) before going out for a lovely destressing dinner with friends. Incredible aurora borealis overhead to cap the night off 😍

I really wanted to get out and see the lights, but I was in bed before I even knew they were happening 😑
Gorgeous pic.

Quite week for me on the exercise front due to being so busy elsewhere.
Tuesday I walked to the gym and did a stairmaster session.
Wednesday I ran but missed my Pilates class
Thursday I walked a bit but not much usual effort so I'm not counting it.
Friday I went to my strength class, which was actually my only strength session this week.

Will aim to do Pilates today.
As it's getting warmer, I'll be less inclined to run as I hate running in the heat, so I'm going to start aiming for a 6am run twice a week 🙃

I know, isn't it just beautiful, imfree? Even with lots of light pollution.

S&c this morning. Weather is so beautiful I'm going to do some tidying in the garden and then cycle down for a sea dip later in the day, when the crowds will hopefully be a bit less.

Lovely easy swim with ds this afternoon. It's ages since he did more than mucking around in the pool so we took it easy and I was able to concentrate on my form.

Shred L3 begun - unless something happens to throw me off target I should be able to finish just before half term. With some trepidation I have bought a copy of T25 on Ebay and will give that a go after half term.

Will do Pilates later. Usually run on a Monday too but I've rejigged my plan for summer now, and will be running tomorrow morning before work.
As much as I hate the warmer weather for exercising, I do hope it stays like this for a while now

5 mile dog walk, which was lovely, but dog picked up loads of ticks at NT property 🤮 I only have him 2 days a week but he's picked them up on every walk for the past few weeks. They aren't feeding on him, as he gets his spot on applied regularly,but it doesn't stop them picking them up. It's doing my head in. Such a shame, as we love woodland and countryside walks. He'll have to have a boring path/road walk tommorrow, as I can't cope with them again. Instructor has cancelled pilates tonight. I'm trying to motivate myself to do my own body bar and pilates workout but failing so far. 😳

Swam Friday, BodyCombat + weights + swim on Sunday, swam plus Boxercise last night (as usual, stupidly joined in on the finisher and almost cried - 1 minute jab-cross fast as possible).

Had a really good swim yesterday - sadly it teemed down with rain overnight so I'll stay out of the water a couple days.
