Rest day today. I do have a two hour skiing session later and my hamstrings are still tight 🫣
But definitely will benefit from no real exercise today as I've got a 10 mile run in the morning

20 min full body strength, I think they were attempting to kill me off. One of those days where the weights felt so heavy

First bit was 3 sets of
Dumbbell squats (weights on shoulders)
Push press
Chest press

Yesterday was a rest day. I met a friend and had my first sea dip in months. It was so cold but fantastic. Managed 14 minutes which was a lot longer than I expected.

Very tough s&c class this evening. I was thinking over the weekend that we hadn't done squats in a while so we did them all.

Missed my usual strength class this morning as my legs were sore
Just done a hamstring, core and shoulders workout but I'm gutted I missed that class.
Followed it with a ten minute 'restful sleep' Pilates session so I could stretch well

It's coming up to the time of year when I get green with envy about your lovely sea swims Motherforkin (although I'm sure they don't always feel 'lovely' at minus something degrees 🥶).

My favourite part of your workout is the "restful sleep" Pilates florence. Sounds right up my street.

Switched it up today with a Caroline Girvan full body workout 🥵

I'm having a horrible week. Dh is away and I've a massive work project so I really need to let off steam but not finding time easily. I managed to block off an hour for a kickboxing class yesterday but it was cancelled at the last minute. I did a very short run while walking the dog this morning so I'm counting it!

(And my quads are still agony after Monday's squats! I haven't had doms this bad in years 😬)

I hate weeks like that, but maybe look at the positives, you're resting your glutes! (Also I've noticed I get DOMS for 4 days now rather than the 2 it used to be! My hams were like that all of last week.

Did back, biceps and core on my lunch yesterday.
Today I did a 6k run at lunch, then a hamstring workout, 30 minutes rowing machine and a Pilates class this evening. Love Wednesdays.
Trying to do what I can this week as next week will be trickier for time, then the week after we are away skiing for a week and I'll do nothing but ski and drink

Thanks Florence. I was feeling very sorry for myself yesterday! Today was a little less hectic (work event for the next few days so everyone who has been driving me bonkers about it was travelling and incommunicado) and I managed to get to a class at the gym early and do 18k steps running around the venue. Tomorrow will be a write off, hopefully I might get something squeezed in on Saturday.

Boxercise Monday and mobility plus BodyCombat today, 20. I really fell of the wagon with a stupid cold and heavy work week. BC felt horrendous but I just cheated my way through, resisting all temptation to go nuts. Had a nice chat after class with lovely Anna Sensei.

Event went well, Florence, thanks but I was (am) completely wiped out after it. The intensity floored me so I had no energy or motivation to do anything when I got back yesterday. I took this morning off and had a nice walk on the beach and did a punishing legs class at the gym. Now that they have remembered squats they are putting them in everywhere!

Nice tshirt paws!

Did my long run yesterday, then strength class this morning.
I think I'm going to have an 'easy' week with the workouts this week.
I'm going skiing next week, so I am flat out busy and stressed in work. But on top of that, I feel like I'm having a flare with my arthritis. Things just don't feel 'right' today.
It's not pain as such, but all the recognisable feelings of hot fingers, numb foot, tingling leg. I think I'm going to use this and work as an excuse to do less this week!

First run in 4(!) weeks. 5km in 30 min 55. A bit slower than I was, but I made it round without stopping.

Hope the cold is going now Bez. DH has a stinker at the moment, so only a matter of time before it comes my way.

Well done for still getting things done Motherforkin and florence. It's good to listen to your bodies and slow down a bit when needed. I had a really busy weekend so didn't get any exercise done. Half term this week which gives me time to get more workouts in. Hoping for at least 4 workouts this week.

Did a Nat Hayward strength workout today and felt really stiff. My elbows and knees are complaining at the moment, think it might be menopause related. HRT is looking more attractive every day.
