20 min full body weights with my new ones! I just need some more plates but not for a while and then I have a decent set up

I did BodyCombat today, DD6 was good as gold sitting on a comfy chair next to the studio, while I worked out.
3 days this week, happy with that (16)!

There is absolutely no way I could drag my two DCs out for a walk, let alone a run. They have occasionally joined in when I am doing a workout, but always bail after about 5 minutes 🙄

3 mile WWL done ☑️ (you put me to shame with your 9 mile run florence). You are all so inspiring ❤️

It just so happens the group I run with are lovely and it motivates me to go, and I happen to have free Sunday mornings at the minute for these long runs

I second the hopes for a following wind (not the kind typically associated with a high protein diet, quiet at the back!) for everyone to fit in the training they have planned.

My Monday is already looking a bit tenuous for getting to the gym (colleagues booking meetings around my lunchtime) - might have to make do with a bit of mobility in the evening at this rate.

How did everyone get on yesterday?

I have a chest, shoulders and triceps workout planned on my lunch hour, and a quick 15 min 'express' pilates after it. That will be it for today.

Oh also, I did a Caroline Girvan stability ball workout for hamstrings and abs last night. That was interesting! I wouldn't say I 'enjoyed' it, like I do with other strength workouts, but the single leg exercises were very challenging... so I'll have to incorporate this into my routine each week now to see if I can make any progress...! 😑
When I say 'challenging', read 'impossible'

yeah I had a mare of a day. Project Mgr scheduled meetings at 12 and 2 which meant I had no good time window to gym it at lunchtime (then didn't turn up for her own meeting at 12 - RUDE). After work I had to pop over to the community club to pay respects at the wake of one of the former officers of the club (which is why my boxercise wasn't on, the wake was in the room we use for that)
TLDR : good intentions, bearing no fruit!

Today looks better, plan is go to the gym to do mobility plus weights before my 2pm call

Sympathy Bez, similar yesterday for me. And it was our wedding anniversary so by the time I finally finished work, I didn't feel I could go out for a run instead of hanging out with dh! Awkward meetings today mean I can't get to any of my classes or pool, so defo getting out for a run as soon as I down tools. I'm posting now to make sure I do...

I got to the gym, wasn't feeling particularly dynamic or motivated, but I KBOd through my mobility and then did stretch-bendy class instead of lifting weights.

I'm calling that a win.

Hope everyone managed to get done what they had planned yesterday.

I was too busy yesterday to find any time, but did a really old Davina workout today. I used to do this workout in my 30s and always found it really hard. Fooled myself into thinking that because I have been consistent with exercise over the last few years, it would be easier. Spoiler alert 🚨...it wasn't 😬. Jeez, I won't be able to move my arms tomorrow. Smugly started off using 3kg and had to drop to 1.5kg to finish. Forgot how good her workouts are.

Busy exercise day for me on a Wednesday as I don't have my DS. So it will be a run at lunch, then a glutes/core session this evening followed by Pilates. This will take me to day 27

I did two workouts from her High Intensity Five programme @florenceandthemac They are strength moves interspersed with one minute cardio intervals (there are four 1 minute intervals per workout). I found the arms workout particularly hard which surprised me as I have been doing strength workouts for a while now with much heavier weights. I used to love her Power of Three DVD years ago. Might have to try and find it on YouTube again.

Lovely swim at lunchtime today. Got my 1km done and my shoulder didn't twinge at all which was unexpected.

Early s&c class this morning which wasn't at all enjoyable. I did sign up for a 10k in June though to make myself get better at running.

Another day, another bust! BodyCombat was cancelled because the instructor's 1yo is poorly. They replaced it with step. Now I really like the step instructor but I don't like step at all. So I didn't bother.

Did you manage anything else?

I managed 30 minutes on the rowing machine before getting my DS.
Really missed my Friday strength class but I think my hamstrings were grateful for the rest. They're killing me from Wednesday's session.
