Upper body circuits yesterday. Girvan 20 minutes lunge fest today. Ouch.

Hi sorry I haven’t been on here in so long, I had a problem logging into Mumsnet on my phone so couldn’t post.. I’m still doing BodyShred having got completely distracted with 6Week 6Pack and Lift and Shred along the way. I’ve also been redoing Yoga Meltdown and Yoga Inferno and trying to squeeze in some of Caroline’s advent calendar!

Anyway the plan was to finish Body Shred this week (only 4 workouts to go), then move onto Jillian’s 30 day January challenge (on her app) coupled with Adrienne’s 30 Day Yoga challenge which I do every year.

But.... there’s been a spanner in the works because I’ve just had confirmation that I have Covid AGAIN!! Triple jabbed, etc. such bad luck. It’s very mild and I feel fine but best lay off the exercise for a few days.

I eased back into it today with a 2 mile WWL with my new 3kg ankle weights. I think I will start the new Caroline Girvan Epic Endgame and see how I get on time wise. I am going to try and get up at 5.30 to get my workout in before everyone gets up. Having done this before I remember it was nice knowing there would be no interruptions. Again, I'll see how I get on.

Not setting a target this year, but I will count my days.

Happy New Year Roonetta! Getting up early to do exercise has been life changing for me. It means I can easily do it 5 times a week - no excuses! Good luck with Endgame, I might try that in Feb when I’ve finished Jillian’s Strong. I’ve got Tim Sensai’s yoga challenge lined up for Feb too. As you can see, I do love a challenge!

Today I did Day 2 of Jillian’s 30 Strong and Day 3 of Adriene’s Move.

Decided to do Epic Heat this morning as it is slightly shorter than Endgame and I was struggling to fit it in first thing and the morning routine felt rushed. I know I could get up earlier to accommodate it but, no Grin

Is Strong the same format as Jillian's other workouts Wineloffa? How are you finding it?

It’s different Roonetta in that it doesn’t follow the 1,2,3 strength, cardio, abs format.

On Strength Days (4 per week) there’s a warmup in each routine, then 3 rounds of strength exercises, then a warm down.

There’s a 10 minute HIIT one day a week and a rest day. I’m really enjoying it so far.

This morning I did Day 9 of Strong and I’ll do Adriene’s yoga later.

Welcome @Buildingthefuture. Always good to have another Jillian fan. Hope you decide to stay and update us on your workouts, it really gives me motivation to hear what others are doing.

I decided to do one half of Epic 1 (not Jillian Grin) as the whole workout is too long first thing in the morning. I must admit I am struggling getting up early (how do you do it Wineloffa?) and also getting a bit bored with the workouts. I'll keep going for now but might have to change things up soon.
