After doing this in 2018 a new thread for new folk to join the 2019 challenge. Pick your target, log your miles and see what you can achieve whilst encouraging each other Smile Anyone want to join me?

Won the crown on Strava, all time fastest female on a segment near my house! Very chuffed, but also very aware that only runners will appreciate this!! Grin

Still in bed sick, as D&V bug wiped me out yesterday just as I was feeling better from the cold Sad fed up now. Zero exercise for 8d now and it will be a couple more days before I’m up to anything.

Only bonus of being wiped out is I’ve lost 4lbs 😂normally takes me 4wks not 36hrs to lose that!
Hope to go for a walk tomorrow as my strength returns. Then fingers crossed a short run on Monday.

35.71 miles of walking done this week! Not bad for my first week back at work! As long as I can get decent walks in on a Friday and over the weekend I'll be ok.

I need to seriously up my game.... Need to walk 3.75 miles every single day between now and the end of the year to hit my 1000 mile target Shock. However, I have set myself the rather ambitious target of doing all my miles as "deliberate" miles, recorded using RunKeeper. I'll still be happy if I hit my target using all steps recorded by my fitbit, which I'm on track for (but have a nominal target for my fitbit target of 1500 miles)

You must be doing pretty well pink, I worked out I need 3miles/5km a day running to hit my 1000 miles too. I haven't worked out exactly what I need daily til the end of the year, but I reckon I'm only slightly over target at this (almost halfway) point.

Slow 10k run yesterday and good swim tonight 1.2km, mojo is slowly returning, just need to stop waking up at 4am (flipping hormones 😬)

Sea swim today estimated 500m, it was probably more but it was hard to tell with chop and waves. Hope to do a long run Monday after school drop off.

34.26 miles of walking done this week. This would have been more but the weather has been so pants I got the bus a lot on Friday and Saturday!

Long super tiring slow humid run this morning but 18km Done nearly broke me though I was exhausted by the end. The humidity killed me.

@thenewaveragebear1983 it's hard, I try to get out for a walk at lunch, even if it's just down the road and back. I totally took it for granted being at home!

I make sure I do a good long walk at least once over the weekend, just to give my miles a boost. I usually walk into town and back which is about a 4 mile round trip.
