It is very nearly 2018, so here is a thread to track your exercise goals.

It doesn't matter if you are new to exercise, or merely continuing your current regime. Everyone is welcome!

I think I’m still feeling the after effects of my double Ri30 session. Lifting my arms up to hang the washing out really hurt this afternoon!

Rest day. I’m going to the boarding house open evening at DS’s school (my job may be temporarily moving to China, and I’m trying to work out whether boarding would be less disruptive than moving him to an international school and then back again).

Wow Oub. Sounds like some tough decisions coming up. Has he been following an international curriculum or the British one so far? Are there British schools in China too? Mine are at a British school out here. They will do IGCSEs and IB.

OublietteBravo · 14/06/2018 21:24

So far he’s been following the British curriculum (he’s currently in Y7 and has been at his current prep school since Y4). He’d be moving from day boy to boarder as he moves from the prep school to the upper school (they’re both on the same site). Lots of people start boarding at this point in time.

The main problem with taking him with us and using an international school is that we’re likely to be returning mid-way through Y10 (or possibly at the start of Y11), which really isn’t ideal exam-wise.

30 Mins strength for legs and bum. One hour dance later.

Yes that* is tricky Oub.* If the other school doesn't use the same examination board for a particular GCSE subject then that could be very difficult. Good luck with deciding what to do Thanks

OublietteBravo · 15/06/2018 19:55

I’m feeling tired today, so I just did the first level of Ri30.
