Exercise every day 2018

Anyone up for tracking some exercise every day in 2018?

I currently do yoga and bootcamp classes at the gym and stopped running in September due to an injury (but not injured any more!)

I don't drive so walk everywhere. I wouldn't count walking as exercise unless I went further/faster on purpose, but willing to count say 20 mins easy yoga so that I don't burn out with intense exercise every day.

I'm hoping the streak will appeal to the my obsessive nature and mean that I push myself to do more this year.

Anyone else up for it? Grin

Park run today
Spin and body pump yesterday
20 lengths swimming and an hour of weights the day before.

Tsotofamily · 24/02/2018 16:51

Didn't manage anything yesterday between work and running kids around to various clubs etc.

Today ive
1 1/2 hour dog walk
20 min walk whilst son was warming up before match
30 min walk with youngest ( she was fighting her sleep)
my legs are feeling it now tho

Hoping to get to do more workouts at home, but dd3 usually ends up trying to climb over me or grabbing at my leg

Good going Tso. Your littlest sounds younger than mine but I have been known to put on Cosmic Kids Yoga with my two on YouTube and take it really seriously myself while letting them waft around listening to the story. Or my go to recently which is an app which takes literally no more than 5 minutes to do. I put music on and do one workout, or more if I have time to string them together.

It's a rare double day for me today! Did some yoga this afternoon in an attempt not to seize up tomorrow.

15 mins Davina. Attempted legs but cramped up 1/3 of the way through. So I stopped before I injure myself.

Workouts are easier if I haven’t drunk alcohol the night before.

Sub - youngest is 19months, only managed to do 20 mins of cardio the other day coz she fell asleep in pushchair on way back from shop. If the older ones at home then she's entertained abit more but im normally running around after at least one of them or in kitchen making food. Might give the youtube video a go tho you never know

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/02/2018 08:51

15 mins Davina cardio, 15 mins xhit legs, bums and tums.

Submariner · 25/02/2018 09:57

Yeah not much you can do with a 19 month old Tso, but you sound pretty active anyway!

30 minute run done this morning - I'd like to do our local half marathon in September but need to get my running base back up first.

I definitely look better after 10-11 days. Bums higher & my waist is returning.

MrsJoshDun · 26/02/2018 20:33

6k run.

Bestbees · 26/02/2018 21:44

A long weekend in london with loads of walking. A tiny bit of yoga and 5 minute abs when i can fit them in!

Yoga and 10 mins of a dance work out. I gave blood today and wasnt feeling it.

Feb has been a month of trying different things (powerhoop, rollerblading, ddifferent youtube videos of dancing and abs)

My mini extra target for march will either be 5 mins of abs work every day or yoga everyday. What do people think? Anyone else up for a little challenge?

Sounds like lots of great work!

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/02/2018 15:47

I’m having today off.

Tomorrow I’m starting a new routine of cardio, legs bums and tums plus a barre abs workout.
