Anyone up for tracking some exercise every day in 2018?

I currently do yoga and bootcamp classes at the gym and stopped running in September due to an injury (but not injured any more!)

I don't drive so walk everywhere. I wouldn't count walking as exercise unless I went further/faster on purpose, but willing to count say 20 mins easy yoga so that I don't burn out with intense exercise every day.

I'm hoping the streak will appeal to the my obsessive nature and mean that I push myself to do more this year.

Anyone else up for it? Grin

I need this thread! I have a sedantry lifestyle given half a chance....I weighed myself and I'm 9stone so I need to lose 12lbs. I'm 41 this year and weight doesn't drop off me like it used to 10 years ago.

My goal is to fit into my all saints jeans again, I can just about do them up but it's not a pretty sight. I had fab legs and bum when Dh met me and I'd like to get back to that.

I've done davina fit in 15 cardio & legs today, I really need a floor based bums & tums routine, I do quite well with those. Fit in 15's is plank based and my lower back won't let me do those.

So, any good bums & tums routines?. Preferably on YouTube Grin

I've managed a 40 mins dog walk today.
Not going to manage anything to as have a a 13 hour shift

Aqua circuits class

Tomorrow will be Spin and BodyPump.

I've done davina 15, cardio and legs plus a YouTube Xfit 15 mins legs bums and tums.

The legs/bum was a good workout but still searching for a good ab workout.

Fluffy i did a 10 minute barre abs on youtube which was killer.

4k run today. Lots of walking around london tomorrow with friend and will try and sneak in a few 1 minute planks!

I have a mantlepiece, I could use it as a barre.

My spines excessively curved at the base so some floor exercises are out.

1 hour and 10 mins of walking - 55mins with dogs and quick 15 mins before my son's football match started whilst they were warming up

Davinas fit in 15 cardio, legs workout & an Xfit YouTube buns & tuns workout. Will look for a barre workout tomorrow.

I had alcohol last night & found the workouts harder today.

Yeah my PT tells me to go by measurements not weight but I keep forgetting to buy a tape measure. He reckons I’m looking thinner and my clothes feel looser. Have noticed my arms and legs are looking thinner.

Did 45 mins of free weights today, 30 min fast uphill walking on treadmill then a 30 min core class.

I'd love to join this!! Is it too late to start from today? I've just been to the gym today and am thinking what I can do the rest of the week.

Sorry if this has been asked before but would you suggest yoga or Pilates? Which is better? Could I do both or would it be better to replace one with a different exercise. I'm not great at motivating myself so I think would have to go to classes rather than follow YouTube.

I'd also love to swim every other day or so! I'm really excited !

Hi and welcome whatsthegame. I've just recently joined too, building up slowly but really looking forward to getting back into it. Swimming is the one thing i love but just don't seem to have time to go atm. Hopefully when youngest starts playgroup I will make time for it even if its just once a week for now.

Schools closed today due to boiler breaking down so got kids out on a quick walk with dogs for about 30 mins and have done a 10 min jump workout. Eldest Has dance later so I will take dogs out again for a longer walk whilst waiting around for her

Welcome whats. I much prefer yoga, but why not try a bit of both to see what you like? Cant see it being a problem to do both!

Plan for today is some hiit youtube thing then yoga.

Try both yoga and Pilates & see which you prefer, it's easier to do things you like.

I did a Davina 15m cardio but nothing else. Been to work today though & normally I'd veg out all night.

What does everyone have for breakfast, I'm looking for something quick and easy on days I have work. I've only recently started eating breakfast these past few months before i would skip it all together

I do 5:2 so dont have breakfast two days if the week. If it is the day after fast day i have one of the following: overnight oats with fruit/nuts/seeds, peanut butter on toast, avo on toast, mushroom omlette, eggs on toast, poached eggs and avo. All are fast, even a mushroom omlette takes less than 5 mins!
