Attempted L2D2, lasted 5 minutes thanks to the kids.... Not impressed! Will try again later, but have a pile of work lined up.

L3 D1! Can't find a good quality version on YouTube, may be reduced to paying for DVDs.

As far as the exercises, mainly Anita with a tiny bit of Natalie but I fear I may struggle with my lower back and the Rocky situps (would crunches be a good alternative)? And I doubt I'm ever going to be coordinated enough for the rockstar jumps but I gave it my best.

I just bought a box set of five Jillian DVDs. I'm letting myself in for it, huh?

Did not work out today. I have been too unwell for anything except internet shopping.

Drspouse - if full sit-ups strain your back then don't do them (yet). Have you tried them with arms extended in front of you to reduce leverage? But if that hurts at all then better safe than sorry, work on really strong crunches.

Hi, can I join your thread? I bought the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred DVD three years ago and I would like to start. I have recently taken up running with my dog, so I am getting into the habit of doing some exercise every day.

Hi all
I'm joining the thread as I've just ordered 5 of Jillians DVDs and I need to stay motivated! Anyone tried the one week shred?

When I did the 30 day shred I was so bored I gave up after 11days but I did lose 2 inches off my hips and 1 off my waist in only 11 days! So this time maybe I will stay interested with the variety!

I've also ordered hard body, yoga inferno and some others Grin

What else is in the 5-pack, pole? I've not tried the one-week shred, do report back on that!

I'm continuing with my holiday DIY regime - today did 4 sets of tabatas (high stepups, JJs with weights, mountain climbers, plank jacks, moguls, deep squats, 'butterfly' situps and weighted punches in various combinations), then feeling like that was enough (partly because I was fasting yesterday and had had 2 mugs of tea and one of coffee beforehand and I was audibly sloshing Grin) I used the tabata timer on a variety of plank type things - so 20 secs each of side planks R&L, forearm, extended arm, the sort where you go between extended/forearm (leading with R or L), twisted planks and then finished with supermans to stretch my back the other way.

Just checking to say hello! Not exercised for a couple of days as like MsR I'm not well.
Hopefully I'll get back on track when I'm feeling better, might need a kick up the arse in a couple of days though Wink

Did Zumba class yesterday but not Shred as I was really late back due to unforeseen circumstances.

I'm also doing a no sweet treats April challenge because I've been over indulging waaaay too much and I think I'm either fighting a cold or suffering sugar withdrawal because I had zero energy today and haven't shredded but I'll be back at it tomorrow.

In the set I've got:

One week shred
Hardbody
Yoga meltdown
Kickboxing one
And an abs one I think!

Today I did level 3 of the shred I've never made it that far before and I was amazed I didn't find it that hard Grin I'm not saying it was easy but it didn't kill me!

pole with those results I want to do 30 Day shred every day. I'm stuffed from dinner at the moment so may just make a fresh start tomo.

Hello all. Day 26 of 30DS, about to step it up to L3... If it's anything like the first time I did the other levels, I'll hate it at first, but then it won't seem as bad.

Fantastic work, ladies!

My week so far has included:
Killer Buns and Thighs
Shred Level 2
Cardio from Body Revolution
Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism
No More Trouble Zones
Shred Level 1 with higher weights than usual.

Have been very lucky to have a working pattern that allows so many hours with the goddess Jillian this week.

Errol, loved the description fo your tummy sloshing. I haaaate that! Grin

Just popping on to say I'm still alternating NMTZ and BFBM, but with more days off than usual due to holidays and DIY. Grin
Have ordered JM 'Hard Body' today and will report back. Anyone tried it? It seems to be one of her more recent ones.

When do you all fit it in? I am wondering if I should try to get up early in the mornings to fit it in? I will have time in the evenings but not sure if I will have energy!

Also one week shred you have to do 2 DVDs each day Shock

Yup, I pretty much hated L3 of 30DS last night. It's a killer! However, I am looking forward to it tonight as I know it'll wear me out and I'll sleep well (I've slept so well since starting 30DS).

I've already downloaded RI30 so I have a new challenge awaiting for me when I want a change from L3.
