Bloody hell - that 7 min Davina exercise DVD

It works!

I've been at it a week. Before that, did fuck all exercise for YEARS. Ended up with a bad knee every time I tried running etc so gave up.

This was a last ditch attempt to stop my body basically falling off, and I was attracted by the fact it would all be done in seven minutes and at least I could tell myself I'd done something.

It actually frigging works.

(Promise I don't work for Davina. Booble plate, river of sweetcorn, cube of poo, pombears, elderly Korean lady.)

But if there is anyone who was like me, who hates exercise and just generally CBA with gyms etc, this is cracking.

moody me too, no Davina this morning. My alarm went off at 6.05 and I laid there for a minute or two and then DD got up. I could do it with her watching, but she talks all the time and puts me off. She is at Rainbows tonight so instead of spending £4 for me to do to Zumba at the same time, I'll do the exercise DVD then.

I still can't find my other 1kg weight, I had the understairs cupboard out last night, where I thought it was and no joy, although I did find 3 carrier bags full of used carrier bags! I will have a hunt in the garage when I get in from work and if I can't find it, I'll see how much a set will be.

I didn't do my workout yesterday but back at it this morning, warm up and legs.

Even when I've taken days off whatever I do each week is a bonus and it's more than I was doing before buying the DVD.

I think we're all doing great!

I did warmup/ultimate fat burner/tone and sculpt/ stretch this morning because I had a bit of extra time. Feeling very virtuous and wholesome!!! What's the fitness challenge one for? Are you supposed to use it to check your improvement or it just another fat burner?

I started it yesterday! Did the warm up and fat burner, today my back and legs ache. She said if anything hurts, stop. But I don't hurt, my muscles just ache. Because I ache, should I do it again today or rest up? I'm a bit wary of causing damage, going on holiday in 8 weeks!

I just did:

Warm up, tone and burn, box fit, ultimate fat burner and legs.

I wanted to do abs but my dogs were trying to eat me while I was laying on the floor.

I did manage to pull my chest muscle when I was cooling down Hmm

If you have just started Cunny then rest for at least 24 hours.

Once you are used to exercising it is always best imo to work one group of muscles one day and then another group the next day and so on.. with at least 1 days total rest in between (I used to have two complete rest days a week. However, if you are brand new to exercising again I suggest to not over do it and skip today.

Warm up, fat burner, tone and burn and then abs done today. Then went for a 2 hour wak with the dog and the baby.

Am also trying to eat less crap. DS is 14 weeks and although I am breastfeeding I am not happy with how huge I am still. Saw myself in a full length mirror yesterday and it was not pretty.

Just done the fat burner, sculpt and tone and Abs. Good grief, it's the first time I've done the abs section. If it doesn't tone up my jelly belly I don't know what will!

Mines coming tmw but I've just done a Zumba class, I did two a week which I love so Davina will be done in between.
I've been cutting my portions but it's so hard when you be been used to eating the same as a 6ft 2 dh Hmm

Well I skipped it today and then ended up doing something painful to my back getting DD ready for bed. No idea what I did, I wasn't lifting her or anything Confused I think I twisted slightly and then there was just this shooting pain up my back to the left of my spine! It now hurts if I try to bend. Guess I'll be skipping it tomorrow too Hmm

Cunny, do go and see a gp and get referral to physio for some helpful exercises and stretches to relieve your back pain. Putting my back out was what started me on sorting out my fitness, weight and health.

I didn't have time to fit in a workout yesterday, but did a fair bit of house work so feel I still did enough. Today I did a number of different stretches, pilates balance poses and some gentle lifts with my new weights.

I think I am seeing a slight improvement in my balance/steadiness. This is a huge thing for me; usually takes me weeks to build up some stability and only a week or so off to lose it again.

Ult fat burner, tone and sculpt and abs tonight. Then I tried level 1 The Shred - oh dear lord. Jillian Michael's in scary !! And one of the girls behind her is scarily thin, when she does crunches you can see all of her bones. It wasn't fun like Davina either.

I hope the abs do get easier!

Another small change - I can actually do more than 3 press ups now, yay!

Morning! Tried ultimate fat burner this morning. Was hard but satisfying! Pleased to have done it again though, I love feeling like I've achieved something so early in the day!

I didn't do anything yesterday, but i do cycle for 10 mins each way to work and back with lots of little hills and raises on the way, even though i've been cycling it for 2 years i still get a bit puffed out and the hilly bits.

This morning I did warm up, fat burner, ultimate fat burner, abs and 3/4 stretch.

I didn't really feel all motivated this morning to do it, but I though, 'you're always going to get if you do what you always did.'

Abs section makes my back hurt Sad I've watched the tutorial so don't know what I'm doing wrong! I have opted to do ordinary push-ups and crunches instead.

OTOH, I have done Tone&Sculpt and Total Stretch this morning and thoroughly enjoyed both. I have got 2 kg weights and boy, did I know it by the end!!

I have done the fat burner a few times and it leaves me aching, but in a good way.

Small difference: I may be imagining it, but my upper legs feel firmer Grin

Great to hear about all the little differences happening. I've had a couple of days off due to work being full-on, and I'm really looking forward to tonight's session. I feel so much better when I've worked out.

Ultimate abs, tone and burn and stretch done. Dd1 joined me yesterday morning and I heard her yelp when she went to sit on the loo this morning. Bless her. I'm going to keep at her, she's got a very long trekking weekend in a few months. She needs to get fitter.
