Bloody hell - that 7 min Davina exercise DVD

stevienickstophat · 15/02/2015 08:36

It works!

I've been at it a week. Before that, did fuck all exercise for YEARS. Ended up with a bad knee every time I tried running etc so gave up.

This was a last ditch attempt to stop my body basically falling off, and I was attracted by the fact it would all be done in seven minutes and at least I could tell myself I'd done something.

It actually frigging works.

(Promise I don't work for Davina. Booble plate, river of sweetcorn, cube of poo, pombears, elderly Korean lady.)

But if there is anyone who was like me, who hates exercise and just generally CBA with gyms etc, this is cracking.

Just did ultimate fat burner, legs, box fit and stretch.

My legs feel like jelly.

stevienickstophat · 02/03/2015 18:48

Well done Jools - that's so impressive. Seriously.

And well done U2 Smile

Well done on the weight loss everyone :) My legs are aching too much to do any exercise today, I struggled everytime I got out my chair at work.

HelenaVagBasket · 02/03/2015 23:04

Well done everyone!
Fat burner, ult fat burner and abs for me tonight. I can't get the hang of box fit I end up flailing about wildly.
Another change, I can touch my toes easily ! Shock

velmadinkly · 03/03/2015 06:59

Warm up, ultimate fat burn, box fit, abs and 3/4 of stretch done. Now I need to get myself and DD ready to go, me to work, DD to breakfast club.

AmazonGrace · 03/03/2015 07:05

Velma, wow!! Well done!

I've been a tad lazy of late but back on it this week!

No wine until Friday and one or two sessions in the morning!

Just done ultimate legs workout and feeling great!

Time to finish my tea, shower and get ourselves ready for work and school!

Moodykat · 03/03/2015 07:20

Morning everyone! I love this thread, everyone is doing so well!

Warm up, tone and Burn, half of abs and the first two fitness challenge sections before I realised I was running late! Feeling great!

Did yoga at lunch again yesterday and will try to do it today too.

ATeaPleaseBob · 03/03/2015 07:23

I've just done the legs work out for the first time. I found it really hard! I couldn't finish all of the exercises.

I think my legs might be sore tomorrow Smile

stevienickstophat · 03/03/2015 12:20

Wow, you're all so impressive.

I've been rubbish lately - I need a kick up the arse. Please feel free Hmm

Stevie, I'll kick you with my toned up legs Grin

I was the same over the weekend and should have done a couple of sessions but back to it today, my plan is to do it for the rest of the week, will see what the morning brings Hmm

AmazonGrace · 03/03/2015 13:11

Oh and then a nice large glass of celebratory wine on Friday Grin

Moodykat · 03/03/2015 14:38

Stevie - come on woman! You are the reason most of us bought this DVD in the first place! You and your little changes are much needed inspiration.

(Will that do? Am not terribly good at arse kicking!)

stevienickstophat · 03/03/2015 16:46

Thank you ladies - will crack on as soon as I get in from work.

I did a 7 minute workout, followed by a 30 minute low impact one (it included a warm up and cool down.) Am very pleased. The low impact one I did was great for injuries etc, as constant reminders, gentle options, and no jumping or swinging about. Knee still hurts too much to take my weight, even on carpet. I've ordered an exercise mat and some small weights to play with. (But I keep having visions of letting go of a kettle thing and it smashing through my bedroom window Shock ).

Come on, Stevie try just a bit every day now. Even if it is just exerciaes you remember, without using the DVD. As long as you are getting the form right and remembering safety technique. Smile

stevienickstophat · 03/03/2015 18:17

Warm up, fat burner, abs, total stretch all done.

Feel soooooo much better for that, I can't believe it. I absolutely love that stretch routine.

Thank you for the buttkick!

I am not half as sore as I expected.

Already my strength has increased :) In such a short time as well.

stevienickstophat · 03/03/2015 18:38

It happens really quickly, doesn't it?

Reading this thread is my "postnatal push" to get on with some exercise and some wiser food choices. Stone and a half to lose here we go, just waiting on the Amazon delivery ;)

velmadinkly · 04/03/2015 06:58

Warm up, ultimate fat burner, sculpt and tone and 3/4 stretch done.

DD came downstairs too early and started nattering to me. I also need to find my other 1kg weight, I was doing the tone bit with 2 x 2.3kg weights which were a tad too heavy, my form was going off towards the end, although I could still do it. I bet my arms are too sore to type later on this afternoon or tomorrow.

I'm feeling good on it though. Come on you bikini body (rather a less flabby bikini body). 18.5 weeks to go until my holiday, if I can lose 7lb and tone a bit I'll feel so much better about myself.

anniepanniepears · 04/03/2015 07:55

I cannot believe the difference in such a short time
I have been telling everyone at my work to go out and buy the dvd cause I just love doing the exercise makes me feel good as well
keep up the good work everyone x

Quitelikely · 04/03/2015 08:05

Hi guys

What is the full name of this DVD please so I can order it?

Thanks Smile

Quitelikely · 04/03/2015 08:06

Has anyone toned up just by doing the DVD and eating normally?

Sorry I haven't read the thread as it's super long!

zippyandbungle · 04/03/2015 08:50

Stevie I'm also back on if today, my back has been just too sore to do anything other than stretches.
Today, warm up, fat burner and legs.

How are you all using it?
A) the same workouts everytime depending on whick bits you want to work.
B) a rotation of routines that you have scientifically worked out to give the best all round weekly workout.
C) wing it!
At the moment I'm doing what I feel like at the time but I'm worried I'll stick to my favourites and in two months time I'll have a fabulous butt but a flabby back. Confused

HelenaVagBasket · 04/03/2015 10:17

Quite It is Davina 7 minute fit.

Zippy I am doing the fat burner or ultimate fat burner everyday as I love those (can't believe I am loving exercise) and then 1 or 2 of the others, usually legs, abs, sculpt and burn..

I am going to start making a note of which I am doing as I really must crack on with the abs as that is my worst area.

MostlyCake · 04/03/2015 11:20

Bought it.... We need a sheep emoticon.......
