As the last thread was filling up, here's a nice new one for parkrunners old and new

I pulled my thigh muscle trying to balance on one foot to get my barcode scanned on Saturday!

I obviously need more yoga practice

So far I've kept my printout of my bar code in my Oyster card wallet, and my Oyster card wallet in the pocket of my running capris.

You're not really selling this " barcode on shoes laces" idea

I used to have mine on my keyring, until the hole became a split in the plastic and it fell off . Now I just keep it in my pocket, as unlike my ipod it can go through the wash unscathed.

Thinking of trying bury at Edmunds parkrun on Saturday but need to persuade dh it's a good idea! I'd like to take ds's to the Saturday morning movies for kids afterwards so they'd all have to get up and out by 8.15! Normally they're all in their jarmies when I get back at 10!

Just booked a holiday and I am hoping to run Redcar parkrun while we're away :)

Ooh Redcar! I haven't been there for years.

I am hoping to make parkrun this weekend for the first time in several weeks. DS1 says he'll come with me. I think it might be because we have a new cafe just opened right by the finish line .

I will be at Sewerby parkrun the week after if there are any Yorkshire parkrunners.

I've never been to Yorkshire before!

We are going for a wedding next weekend. I am looking forward to sone sea air!

Is Redcar still Yorkshire, or Teeside?

I don't know! We are staying further south, just on the edge of the moors but my friend stayed close there a few weeks ago and recommended Redcar parkrun :)

Now I know my grammar and spelling are probably awful at times but Huntingdon's course description is making me twitch!

I know I sound like a bitch and if this was someone's personal blog/facebook page/twitter etc I'd ignore it. This is the public page of a parkrun event though and if I can get worked up about the AOWALC thing, I can get worked up about this too

Dangnammit! Was all set to do York parkrun tomorrow - and it's cancelled! Boo!

York is regularly cancelled because they run it on the racecourse. Is anywhere else close enough to get to?

Might revert to plan A and go to Doncaster!
