I pulled my thigh muscle trying to balance on one foot to get my barcode scanned on Saturday!

I obviously need more yoga practice Wink

originalpiratematerial · 25/05/2014 22:43

Blathers you are awesome!

So far I've kept my printout of my bar code in my Oyster card wallet, and my Oyster card wallet in the pocket of my running capris.

KristinaM · 26/05/2014 13:59

You're not really selling this " barcode on shoes laces" idea Wink

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 26/05/2014 17:21

I used to have mine on my keyring, until the hole became a split in the plastic and it fell off Smile. Now I just keep it in my pocket, as unlike my ipod it can go through the wash unscathed.

Thinking of trying bury at Edmunds parkrun on Saturday but need to persuade dh it's a good idea! I'd like to take ds's to the Saturday morning movies for kids afterwards so they'd all have to get up and out by 8.15! Normally they're all in their jarmies when I get back at 10!

cinnamongreyhound · 28/05/2014 16:34

Just booked a holiday and I am hoping to run Redcar parkrun while we're away :)

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 29/05/2014 22:56

Ooh Redcar! I haven't been there for years.

I am hoping to make parkrun this weekend for the first time in several weeks. DS1 says he'll come with me. I think it might be because we have a new cafe just opened right by the finish line Grin.

I will be at Sewerby parkrun the week after if there are any Yorkshire parkrunners.

I've never been to Yorkshire before! Shock

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 29/05/2014 23:09

We are going for a wedding next weekend. I am looking forward to sone sea air!

Is Redcar still Yorkshire, or Teeside?

cinnamongreyhound · 30/05/2014 07:44

I don't know! We are staying further south, just on the edge of the moors but my friend stayed close there a few weeks ago and recommended Redcar parkrun :)

Blatherskite · 30/05/2014 10:51

Now I know my grammar and spelling are probably awful at times but Huntingdon's course description is making me twitch!

cinnamongreyhound · 30/05/2014 14:55

passed the bridge you mean?

Blatherskite · 30/05/2014 15:15
Blatherskite · 30/05/2014 15:16

It's "just passed Hinchingbrooke Hospital" apparently

Blatherskite · 30/05/2014 15:18

I know I sound like a bitch and if this was someone's personal blog/facebook page/twitter etc I'd ignore it. This is the public page of a parkrun event though and if I can get worked up about the AOWALC thing, I can get worked up about this too Wink

cinnamongreyhound · 30/05/2014 15:24

You would think someone would have checked it! I guess at some point you will have passed it Wink

Blatherskite · 30/05/2014 16:12

After I've been there, I will have passed Hinchingbrooke Hospital yes.

Maybe they've written the whole thing in the passed past tense?

cinnamongreyhound · 30/05/2014 16:16

Maybe you should email support and complain Wink, I've contacted them to change our parking fees as they've gone up :(

Blatherskite · 30/05/2014 16:34

I might!

But only after I've run it so no-one trips me up Wink

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 30/05/2014 16:40

AOWALC?

Blatherskite · 30/05/2014 16:41

All One Word All Lower Case OhOne

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 30/05/2014 16:42

I was just coming back to tell you I had worked it out Grin

Dangnammit! Was all set to do York parkrun tomorrow - and it's cancelled! Boo!

Blatherskite · 30/05/2014 17:25

York is regularly cancelled because they run it on the racecourse. Is anywhere else close enough to get to?

originalpiratematerial · 30/05/2014 18:25

Might revert to plan A and go to Doncaster!
