Who fancies 10km of mud and obstacles? Come and join Team Wolef

Quite a few of us are interested in doing the Wolf Run this September so we were thinking of getting a team together.

It's for all abilities, it should be really good fun. It's not timed and it'll be too wet to wear your Garmin, so don't worry if you're not a fast runner. We'll be a team and no Wolef will be left behind.

It's on the 6th & 7th of September just south of Coventry, so fairly central. If we get a team together we get a slightly discounted entry.

If you're interested, post on here and we'll start making a list.

We also need to pick a charity so if everyone wants to suggest their favourite one and then we can argue about it for ages with no firm decision being made.

So, I'm in and my favourite charity is the Birth Trauma Association.

My elbows are ok - tis my knees and shins that have the colour :) I have been comparing bruises with DS1&2 from their rugby session.

However...on the plus side...I have been a minor celebrity on the school run today with lots of people wanting to know all about the wolf experience :) Fire you say.....fire I am ok with ....it is water that freaks me!

I am so going to wear my T-shirt at bootcamp tomorrow. Even if I then collapse in a heap after the warm up.

I wore mine to the club run tonight. My friend who'd run it on the Saturday and gave me all the tips about avoiding the holes in the bottom of the lake was wearing his too so we were modelling the his and her's WOLF shirts all night :)

Thought I was ache free but glutes got stiffer as the day wore on. Car smells as a result of driving back to bournemouth unshowered!

Wore my shirt to club last night too Blathers and then, still on a high from Sunday, did a more-speedy-than-sensible 4.5mile run! My body does not like me this morning

Fire you say, I may have to investigate. I really draw the line at electric shocks (Tough Mudder I think) but fire does have a certain fascination :)

Unfortunately the November one clashes with a 10k I'm already signed up for, otherwise I'd be tempted. (Not the swimming though.)

Which 10k are you doing, Fish? I might be tempted by November WR, I'm still sulking about missing this one.

Brrrr! November too hard core for me - the website does warn that it is a step up from the others.

November doesn't appeal here either but a Spring or Summer one does. Not sure it could top the buzz from this one though - I'm still on a high inspite of a cold. I'm getting one of the photos from the woods printed and put up as it sums up everything about Sunday and takes me to a very happy place :)
