Who fancies 10km of mud and obstacles? Come and join Team Wolef

Quite a few of us are interested in doing the Wolf Run this September so we were thinking of getting a team together.

It's for all abilities, it should be really good fun. It's not timed and it'll be too wet to wear your Garmin, so don't worry if you're not a fast runner. We'll be a team and no Wolef will be left behind.

It's on the 6th & 7th of September just south of Coventry, so fairly central. If we get a team together we get a slightly discounted entry.

If you're interested, post on here and we'll start making a list.

We also need to pick a charity so if everyone wants to suggest their favourite one and then we can argue about it for ages with no firm decision being made.

So, I'm in and my favourite charity is the Birth Trauma Association.

There's a Spring Wolf on the 11th and 12th April too but while that lake swim was a little nippy today, I really don't want to try it when we're breaking the ice off the top first!

The spring one is my birthday weekend which presents both opportunity and disaster in equal measure. Summer one I can prob commit too right now (before the bruises show!)

I don't ache as much this morning as I expected to, maybe it is just waiting to surprise me later today!

I'm not sunburnt but am having trouble walking this morning. And bending my elbows

I have no aches but I do have a stonking bruise on one knee and my number sun burnt into my chest!

I'm marshalling the Rock Solid Race the weekend after next so will check that one out for next year. I get a free place as my wages for helping too

The Hot showers at Rock Solid are sounding tempting already :)

Arooo! My elbow is a spectacular blaze of colour today. I'm blaming the mud-slide for most of my bruises!

Rock Solid looks like a cross between The Wolf Run and It's A Knockout, with a bit of fire thrown in. I think I draw the line at fire!!
