Who fancies 10km of mud and obstacles? Come and join Team Wolef

Quite a few of us are interested in doing the Wolf Run this September so we were thinking of getting a team together.

It's for all abilities, it should be really good fun. It's not timed and it'll be too wet to wear your Garmin, so don't worry if you're not a fast runner. We'll be a team and no Wolef will be left behind.

It's on the 6th & 7th of September just south of Coventry, so fairly central. If we get a team together we get a slightly discounted entry.

If you're interested, post on here and we'll start making a list.

We also need to pick a charity so if everyone wants to suggest their favourite one and then we can argue about it for ages with no firm decision being made.

So, I'm in and my favourite charity is the Birth Trauma Association.

all obstacles were just perfect Grin and nothing you cannot handle with the support and encouragement of your fellow wolfs :)

feetheart and I managed all of them despite our considerable difference in height Wink

There was also a very fit man who catapulted me out of the lake with a hearty shove on the bottom ShockBlush

Was there much climbing over/jumping off high things? Because I would need pack motivational support for that, and might cry a bit during the attempt.

There is one high cargo net - we had one Wolef last time who is proper scared of heights and she got over it with encouragement.

But there is no pressure and you can go around all obstacles if you need too. No-one has to do things that they feel are too much of a push

Only other bit I can think of was a high-ish wall, but that apparently was much easier for her as it was solid. The rest of obstacles were just fine.

However....if you like to keep clean and smell sweet step away now!!!

I was scared of the lake swim, but was elated when I did it :)

We were all new to this last time, different ages / heights / eyesight / fitness and we all did it and had a fab day out :))))

Feet if I can have a lift (obviously happy to pay for petrol) am too scaredy to drive on motorways. Then I will sign up for it. I will need help but would love to do it.

feetheart · 08/11/2014 18:03

Can def have a lift HalleLouja though I need to learn to use my satnav thing as last time I only had to make it to Blathers and had to ring for help :)

And we all help each other - no wolef left behind :)
