I copied this list from N4NNY's post on 31/12/11 - hope it's the most recent, if not apologies to anyone I have omitted.... Am a bit tempted by the Cambridge HM, seeing that 4 of you have entered, will have to see how that could fit into training...
Fanny not sure if anyone responded to your marathon training Q..? Have you asked at the running club? (also good source of info re speed sessions) I really have no idea if what you are proposing is too much though. I think it is useful to focus on the marathon date and work backwards from there. Most people start to taper for a marathon a month or so before, so after this point your runs need to be getting shorter.
Peach, think you need more fibre in your diet!
Finally hauled myself out for a run this morning. I put my running tights on at 8.20am, my socks at 8.45, my shoes at 9.15 and left the house at 9.40am
. Managed 12 miles though so was pleased with that. Passed 3 different groups of horse riders en route, always wary of coming up silently from behind, so kept having to shout out "morning" so they were aware of me.
