I was on another thread about the NHS with some posters saying it was ‘broken’ because it’s not performing satisfactorily and something needs to be done aka privatise it
Why is no one saying our political system is broken because it’s not performing at all, let alone satisfactorily? There doesn’t seem to be the same urgent clarion call for something to be done. Is this a failure to connect the dots? That it actually matters who you vote Into office for health care provision, for transport services, for a well functioning judiciary, prison service etc. Argh.
Instead, a PM can lie repeatedly and seemingly break the law repeatedly whilst being continuously incompetent and callous toward the British public and still he can carry on refusing to step down.
