Never, ever did I think I’d be the voice of reason on these threads but we’re in unfamiliar waters now

Who would support an election with No Deal still on the table
Quite a lot would, its time to get out of the EU if MPs wont accept a deal then we leave anyway.

Johnson could pick any date which stymies the attempts to block No Deal Parliament can get prorogation cancelled. Do you seriously believe they cant enforce an election date? Nonsense.

DustyDiamond · 25/09/2019 19:54

Tbh I don't trust Boris the man an inch.
I do however believe that he & his party are the only ones who will deliver on Brexit

I cannot stand current labour & am not overly impressed with Lib Dems (because I think they've become a single issue pressure group now)

dirtyrottenscoundrel · 25/09/2019 19:54

I enjoy your posts Bearbehind - we are on opposite sides but you always speak sense.

Can you tell my husband that last bit πŸ˜‚

They are both contemptible twats, Bear. But frankly, given the mayhem Quitling No Dealers are wishing on our country, Corbyn's mayhem seems tame in comparison. And he'll be dumped soon enough.

Bearbehind · 25/09/2019 20:01

And he'll be dumped soon enough.

He won’t get a chance to be dumped because he’s never going to be chosen.

bellinisurge · 25/09/2019 20:03

Fair enough. But your love for No Deal hasn't won me over yet.

Bearbehind · 25/09/2019 20:09

bellini get a grip love.

You know damn well I only want no deal because there’s no other realistic option right now and it means we get to repair the damage ASAP.

If you think anything else can actually happen, not just what you’d like to happen, then let us know.

But, from where I’m standing, what will tip this into no deal is those who dismiss what BJ is achieving here.

DustyDiamond · 25/09/2019 20:11

Opposition MPs are going to look like proper dicks tomorrow if they don't move VONC

It's the best way to force their extension & after weeks of barracking about how they don't want a Tory govt or BJ as PM

bellinisurge · 25/09/2019 20:18

Still got that lovely tone about you, Bear.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 25/09/2019 20:19

Its very amusing that Corbyn will never lead a government but he cant even lead the remainer 'rebel alliance' GNU to stop no deal.

Boris is looking like a strong leader standing up for the people. His speech in Parliament earlier got a standing ovation.

bellinisurge · 25/09/2019 20:21

I predict he's frothing up his usual shit to bring Quitlings onside for a WA 2.0 deal that they'd hate if anyone else tried it.
But you don't like opinions that aren't your own.

Bearbehind · 25/09/2019 20:23

Still got that lovely tone about you, Bear

bellini I genuinely don’t think you reflect on your own tone - as you do generally speak to Leavers like shit.

And you haven’t said what you actually think is still possible now?

jasjas1973 · 25/09/2019 20:23

Why would the opposition want a GE right now.

Much better to force BJ to ask for an extension or resign - you don't give your enemy what they demand do you?

Jonson has lost friends on his side, with his stupid & failed prorogation.

Then there is his use of public funds going overseas....(and to an attractive blonde) still to play out but ironic seeing we need to leave the "Corrupt EU" lol.

Bearbehind · 25/09/2019 20:25

But you don't like opinions that aren't your own.

X post.

Give over with the β€˜quitlings’ shit.

WA 2 won’t survive the transition period so it’s just can kicking.

Septembersunrays · 25/09/2019 20:25

Bear at the risk of sounding patronising you have come far since the ye old days of this boozer.

Hopefully it's a sign, a hope a becon of light, that your radical remain friends will go on a similar journey, when, of course they are ready. Grin

Bearbehind · 25/09/2019 20:26

Johnson has the balls to go for no deal.

TM didn’t.

It’s the will of the people after all.

Without a GE he’ll jump of the cliff simply because he can.

bellinisurge · 25/09/2019 20:32

A Quitling is not all Leave voters. A Quitling is someone so desperate for Leave they will fuck the country over to get their dream. And I'll call people who want that whatever the fuck I like.

jasjas1973 · 25/09/2019 20:34

Johnson has the balls to go for no deal

He can't and keep within the law, court action will begin shortly after the 17th October if he doesn't ask for an extension.

But of course he can ignore the court and its sanctions, who knows? he is more of a criminal than a PM.

jasjas1973 · 25/09/2019 20:37

Anyone listen to ch4 news and the leaked hospital papers?

Isotope supply issues, no plans on how to restock the stock piles and UK patients already taken off european medical drug trials.,, very sad.

DustyDiamond · 25/09/2019 20:43

Why would the opposition want a GE right now.

Much better to force BJ to ask for an extension or resign - you don't give your enemy what they demand do you?

And it is precisely this sort of party politicking that is causing contempt of parliament amongst the people.

By carrying on like this he is effectively spitting in the face of voters.

Bearbehind · 25/09/2019 20:48

A Quitling is not all Leave voters. A Quitling is someone so desperate for Leave they will fuck the country over to get their dream. And I'll call people who want that whatever the fuck I like.

Cos that makes you big and clever and makes them listen to you πŸ€”

Bearbehind · 25/09/2019 20:49

He can't and keep within the law, court action will begin shortly after the 17th October if he doesn't ask for an extension.

They’ll find a way around that.
