This is the first hit I get for "KK" on my part of the Google archipelago:

KK

There's an angry atmosphere in this pub today. I thought this was the Leavers happy domain for celebrating sovereignty and forthcoming freedom from the shackles of the undemocratic EU. I'm not getting any happy vibes.

DustyDiamond · 25/09/2019 17:01

That'll be because the po-faced, perpetually angry, persistently patronising gloom-merchants of the anti-brexit persuasion were out in force earlier.

Always gets tetchy when they poison the well πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

"That'll be because the po-faced, perpetually angry, persistently patronising gloom-merchants of the anti-brexit persuasion were out in force earlier."

But, but, but ... we've been repeatedly told it's the angry Quitlings who are going to be out rioting if they don't get their particular unicorn!

bellinisurge · 25/09/2019 17:51

I love how me being pro-compromise and anti-No Deal makes me a doom merchant.
As Corporal Jones would say "they don't like it up 'em"

Walkingdeadfangirl · 25/09/2019 18:20

When the GE comes there is going to be one hell of dirty fight. Corbyn the terrorist sympathiser, who will literally seize private property, seize 10% of your company, increase immigration from the EU, who was too cowardly to call the election and will turn the UK into Venezuela.

Versus

Boris the man of the people, standing up to Parliament, the Judges and the EU. The man who will do what 17.4 million people voted for.

No wonder Corbyn is to scared to call an election. Its coming!!

bellinisurge · 25/09/2019 18:24

I despise Corbyn. Sorry to spoil your fantasy.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 25/09/2019 18:27

bellinisurge, are you a Lib Undemocrat?

dirtyrottenscoundrel · 25/09/2019 18:34

Remainers will vote libdem, as they’re the only party openly saying they don’t give a fuck about the 17 million idiots who voted to leave, brexiteers will vote Tory or brexit party, so that just leaves the old school socialists voting for Corbyn, & there’s not enough of them to win labour an election.

dirtyrottenscoundrel · 25/09/2019 18:46

And Boris just gave a blinder of a speech!

He’s loving it Grin

bellinisurge · 25/09/2019 19:21

I'm a floating voter @Walkingdeadfangirl .

DustyDiamond · 25/09/2019 19:24

I loved Geoffrey Cox earlier & BJ is good tonight.

He's offered time for VONC tomorrow, no matter who brings it - will be astonishing if SNP & Lib Dems don't take him up on the offer

They can do that, install temporary PM to get their extension from EU & get a GE for November.

Will be shocking if they choose instead to cling on to this shit show.

bellinisurge · 25/09/2019 19:26

Who would support an election with No Deal still on the table. Johnson could pick any date which stymies the attempts to block No Deal.
If he was a trustworthy individual, maybe. But he's a shifty sod that lied to the Queen. So no one trusts him.

DustyDiamond · 25/09/2019 19:28

I'm a floating voter @Walkingdeadfangirl**

Believe it or not I usually am as well Bellini πŸ˜‚

I've voted Labour, Lib Dem & Tory at various points & Brexit Party in last EU election.

At the moment I'm firmly Tory but I'd maybe be persuaded by a sensible Labour Party under someone like Caroline Flint or Stephen Kinnock.

DustyDiamond · 25/09/2019 19:30

No need to trust BJ if they VONC tomorrow, install caretaker PM & get extension from EU themselves.
Then call GE immediately after.

bellinisurge · 25/09/2019 19:30

I'll vote to stop No Deal and to save GFA.
I despise Corbyn. I'm pissed off with our sitting Labour MP on a local issue. But I would vote Labour if it would keep the Brexit Party/Johnson Tories out.

dirtyrottenscoundrel · 25/09/2019 19:34

17.4 million people who voted to leave trust him. And after tonight’s speech ( where he totally obliterated the opposition ) his popularity will soar.
He said it exactly how it is.

bellinisurge · 25/09/2019 19:36

You trust that twat. Speaks volumes.

Bearbehind · 25/09/2019 19:38

I don’t agree with your opinion on Brexit dirty but I totally agree that Johnson proper upped the ante today if you support him.

I don’t support him but even I can see that.

MockersthefeMANist · 25/09/2019 19:39

17.4 million people who voted to leave trust him.

All of them? Including the now dead ones?

Bearbehind · 25/09/2019 19:41

You trust that twat. Speaks volumes.

The trouble is, he’s a believable twat if you support his views.

On the other side is another complete twat, JC, who flip flops and stands for nothing, so very few can support him.

It’s long since been about supporting the best, it’s about who rallies the troops the most effectively.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 25/09/2019 19:41

"The time is coming when even these turkeys won't be able to prevent Christmas." - Geoffrey Cox

Brilliant start to the news headlines.

dirtyrottenscoundrel · 25/09/2019 19:44

He really did didn’t he Bearbehind.
It was a joy to watch. Grin

Bearbehind · 25/09/2019 19:49

Never, ever did I think I’d be the voice of reason on these threads but we’re in unfamiliar waters now πŸ˜‚

I can’t get my head around the fact that Remainers generally don’t see how β€˜dissing’ Leavers achieves nothing.

Making threats about β€˜no deal’ achieves nothing

Calling BJ arrogant achieves nothing.

He’s rallying his troops far more effectively than any alternative right now.
