You really think the EU will roll over and give in now?

Nope - I think we will agree to a fudged WA

Then what will you do

bellinisurge · 29/08/2019 08:55

You are so funny @mummmy2017

mummmy2017 · 29/08/2019 08:59

Bear , this is not what our PM is saying, it is what your advocating.

ContinuityError · 29/08/2019 08:59

No let's have fresh coffee from a fresh pot instead on the 1st Nov

So then you can have your β€œwake up and smell the coffee” moment?

Lonelycrab · 29/08/2019 09:00

Haven’t you got anything stronger than the Essex lambrini? Oh, smuggled Indian street hooch.

No I don’t want Kevin’s home brew bitter. It’s horrible.

Haven’t you got, like, a nice New Zealand white?

Oh. Still stuck waiting at customs. Not much cop this gaf is it?

PotatoShape · 29/08/2019 09:03

bellinisurge and Bearbehind then why not stay on your thread? Dont you feel embarrassed to be all over every single brexit thread? It's like you are trying to 'own' every thread!?

The Brexit Arms is clearly for leavers to chat in.

Bearbehind · 29/08/2019 09:04

potato people can post where they like. All you seem to be doing is posting to tell people not to post

Lonelycrab · 29/08/2019 09:05

It’s a free country spud

bellinisurge · 29/08/2019 09:06

I didn't know that there were threads you can't post on. You are welcome to post on whatever thread you like as long as you don't break MN Talk Guidelines.
It's not my fault that Brexiteers don't like answering questions.

Bearbehind · 29/08/2019 09:07

this is not what our PM is saying, it is what your advocating.

Humour me then - what would you do if Boris is actually playing you and we don’t leave with no deal

Like I said, not even your fellow Leavers are all convinced by this latest turn

Bearbehind · 29/08/2019 09:07

spud πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

reginaldmolehusband · 29/08/2019 09:08

We need a drinking game: 1 πŸ₯ƒ when anyone mentions "backstop", 2 πŸ₯ƒπŸ₯ƒ for a "Nazi Party", drinks all round 🍻🍾πŸ₯ƒπŸ· for "mass graves". Cheers 🍺😁

Lonelycrab · 29/08/2019 09:12

Pint of unicorn tears please

mummmy2017 · 29/08/2019 09:12

Don't you think it is odd every straw you have clutched at has blown away in the wind.
From the second the vote didn't go your way, I have seen you say this has to happen, and did it? No
So forgive me if I think yet again your going to be disappointed.

Lonelycrab · 29/08/2019 09:14

I think we’re all gonna be disappointed but you haven’t grasped that yet

Bearbehind · 29/08/2019 09:15

Don't you think it is odd every straw you have clutched at has blown away in the wind.

The thing is, I don’t think it has. I think that’s more true for Leavers - 2 leave dates have come and gone for starters

You may be right, Boris May do exactly as you think - I’m just asking what you’d do if he doesn’t?

Parker231 · 29/08/2019 09:16

No one has told me yet what I’ll be celebrating?

mummmy2017 · 29/08/2019 09:18

But he isn't going to.
For a deal to be struck the EU would be throwing a member under the bus and they can't do that.

Bearbehind · 29/08/2019 09:21

For a deal to be struck the EU would be throwing a member under the bus and they can't do that.

Eh? I think you’ll find that’s no deal

mummmy2017 · 29/08/2019 09:33

So no deal it is then.

bellinisurge · 29/08/2019 09:40

And you want to celebrate that?

Bearbehind · 29/08/2019 09:42

mummmy that argument makes no sense

No deal is more damaging to both us and the EU - Boris has always said he would rather have a deal than no deal

This latest stunt is just to try and make the EU think we’re serious about no deal and will result in a fudge whereby Boris gets to say theWA has changed, even though it hasn’t really and, because people think he’s mad enough to go through with no deal, the WA (probably referred to as something else) will be voted through

mummmy2017 · 29/08/2019 09:42

Yes, a no deal would please me.
No little lines in deals that get twisted to benefit the EU and not the UK.

bellinisurge · 29/08/2019 09:43

You deserve everything that No Deal brings you.

mummmy2017 · 29/08/2019 09:49

Bear the WA is no good
The EU can't change it.
Can you see them giving up a back stop?
Or any of the other things people think are wrong in the agreement?
No. They just keep waving the deal and saying this or nothing.
So nothing it is.
