Westminstenders: Indicative Crossiants

RedToothBrush · 26/03/2019 18:23

Tomorrow the Indicative debate starts at 3pm

The Speaker will choose options to go to vote.

Vote at 7pm for yes or no for each option.

7.30pm The SI debate on extension followed by vote.

Announcement of the indicative vote sometime between 8.15pm and 9.30pm

Meanwhile the DUP have indicated they would prefer a long delay (and presumably EU elections by default) rather than May's deal, in a strange twist of Brexit.

Damn it! My post tipped over to p2. Must be faster next time!

Flowerplower · 26/03/2019 18:43

Pmk. I'm a pizza voter but got People's Vote. I'm sure Ariana Grande would agree on both counts!

Holidayshopping · 26/03/2019 18:44

I haven't had chance to catch up today at all...anyone heard about the Labour story breaking@7pm?

Where did you hear that?

SingingBabooshkaBadly · 26/03/2019 18:44

Thanks Red

Somewhat in shock at making on to the thread at page one.

Emailed Oliver Letwin. Got an auto reply explaining how many emails he gets but then a minute later a thank you sent from his phone. Think I’ll send some more thank you emails - would be nice if we could outweigh the hate mail they’re no doubt getting.

DGRossetti · 26/03/2019 18:44

.

SingingBabooshkaBadly · 26/03/2019 18:45

Oh well, page 2! I’m trying to keep up, honest!

InterchangeableEmma · 26/03/2019 18:45

pmk

dontcallmelen · 26/03/2019 18:45

PMK, completely mystified & yy icannot that would be the ultimate insane ending.

BercowsSilkTie · 26/03/2019 18:45

Thanks Red. Might keep up with this one but probably not!

Horehound · 26/03/2019 18:47

Im now wondering how bad no deal would be. I mean, voting for agreement basically still ties us to the EU so what is the actual point of that? Surely no one can say no deal is worse than WA because it's new territory?

Oh I'm not sure. I'm all confused. And i cant be arsed with a long extension.

Littlespaces · 26/03/2019 18:47

I've missed today.

Hopefully not too much has happened.

I did the quiz and got Revoke. If only it were that easy.

TheABC · 26/03/2019 18:48

It would be very fitting if the people who got May into power (DUP) are the ones to finish off her ambition. Almost Shakespearean.

Stock up shop tomorrow. Until we get a definitive answer, it's still a Break-up Britain Brexit.

WhatWouldScoobyDoo · 26/03/2019 18:49

PMK !

1tisILeClerc · 26/03/2019 18:49

what now?

TiddleTaddleTat · 26/03/2019 18:51

Pmk

dontcallmelen · 26/03/2019 18:51

Yy emailing some love to MPs I also emailed thanks to Oliver,Dominic,Anna, Yvette & Jess as her idiot comment made me laugh & my MP who I didn’t really know very much about as she was a new MP in the last election, she supported the recent amendments which is good.

Violetparis · 26/03/2019 18:54

Any clues about the Labour story about to break ? I can't find anything about it at all.

Dockray · 26/03/2019 18:57

Delurking to share some interesting news from my top political source (aka my mother who is on the village hall committee)

The council phoned this afternoon to make a provisional booking to use it as a polling station at the end of May. It is already booked for local elections at the beginning of May. Possible contingency plans for Euro elections? Does anyone know if that would fit with the notice periods needed?

Violetparis · 26/03/2019 18:58

#BorisLive on twitter is worth a look, Boris talking now at some Telegraph event.

TalkinPaece · 26/03/2019 18:59

Well DH's day in Leaver Land went OK today
and he managed to get into his sessions talking about

  • not trusting the media
  • the march on saturday
  • follow the money with politicians
so a nice bit of subversion Grin
Icantreachthepretzels · 26/03/2019 19:02

I chose Anna Soubrey, pizza, Donald Tusk and Lord Adonis - I got revoke.

I just finished emailing the the tory rebels from last night. Some of them I've emailed in the past for rebelling before (like Ken Clarke and Grieve - practically on first name terms with them) and some were new - but quite a few of them popped us as my having emailed them previously and it must have been from before MV2 when I emailed them asking them not to vote for it. The Lib dems said they were wavering and clearly they were because they are now in open rebellion. So keep up emailing everyone - it works!

I also got a pretty instantaneous thank you from Letwin. what a nice man!

I'm off to email all the tiggers now - try and convince them to attend the petition debate.

TalkinPaece · 26/03/2019 19:02

@Dockray
That is VERY interesting .... can she check .... was it the District/ Borough council or the County or the Parish (it matters)

BigChocFrenzy · 26/03/2019 19:02

Thanks, red 💐

BestIsWest · 26/03/2019 19:05

Holidayshopping · 26/03/2019 19:05

Any clues about the Labour story about to break?

Is it to do with Tom Watson-a racial complaint has been made?
