Lost it by a big margin - 391 to 242.

Please, God, that means we're nearer to staying in the EU.

The EU will make us pay forever - just like a a scorned wife ( or husband) SurferJet

That would be true if the EU was composed of a bunch of morons who preferred shooting themselves in the foot over evidence-based policy founded on perceived mutual best interest, economic advice, and a consensus of political principle.

Don't ascribe to the EU the sort of idiocy that the UK would engage in.

EU cares about European unity, harmony, cooperation, mutual best interest; they see the single market as integral to maintain all that.

UK has made a huge tactical mistake, thinking UK had anything to offer, to make EU break the SM.

Talkingpaece the current WA deal or a new one? The mind boggles..

YouBumder · 13/03/2019 22:31

As another poster commented there are Brexiters saying we can live off the land (rabbits and potatoes etc) why do these type of people think it should be forced on others?
Why don't they live off the land if they wish to do so but let the people who want to buy 'foreign food' be able to do so.

Well exactly, fedup. Not to mention the fact “rabbits and potatoes” guy sounded ancient and would only have to put up with the shit he wants to impose on us for a few years!

bellinisurge · 14/03/2019 06:52

I'm a general prepper and I don't want to live on fucking potatoes and rabbit.

VanillaSugarr · 14/03/2019 07:43

My DD has a pet rabbit. She’d never forgive us if we served up Lapin Surprise.

NoWordForFluffy · 14/03/2019 09:25

My two love watching Peter Rabbit. I'm not sure they'd go for eating him too! 🐰🙈😂

I think May will come back with her deal a third and maybe a fourth time. She needs 75 MP's to change sides.

The80sweregreat · 14/03/2019 14:33

I am not in favour of another referendum at all, but its so hypocritical for parliament to be able to vote twice ( possibly even three times? ) for this deal and not allow the people to have another one. I know i am being very simplistic here and theres more to it than this, but it is very much ' one rule for them' etc.
My MP has been all over the TV/ radio since the new year and is one of the ERG mob - i dont know if he would vote for the deal with a gun to his head, but if he does i hope that he is ready to retire as i doubt he would stay in his job. Not that i care if he is ousted, but goes to show how flawed this whole thing has become. Mind you, i can imagine that he would do this and still keep his job with a reduced majority maybe?
75 MPs isnt much to persuade to finally vote for it - dedends on how much they want to keep there nice little earners going i suppose.
