And good luck, we find it hard to understand😀

HAHAHA - I am finding it hard to understand, and I am here Grin

EarringsandLipstick · 15/01/2019 21:20

*Surely the only options left are No Deal or Scrap the Whole Idea?

Fucking ridiculous. David Cameron has a LOT to answer for.*

This

TM did make a fair point in her speech - you say you don’t want the deal - but what DO you want?

It’s so depressing. And just so sad

Lottapianos · 15/01/2019 21:20

'They'll end up revoking. I know it's very much a minority view but I think it will happen.'

I desperately hope you're right. I will do the biggest sigh of relief in history if you are!

asdfghjk111 · 15/01/2019 21:22

no one should be ashamed to be british today, the mps were rejecting a withdrawal deal so substandard that literally NOBODY is happy with it. You should have been ashamed when cameron promised a referendum (appeasing racists right wing fuckers) or when the remain side diD NOTHING because they were cocky shits or even when 17 million british people voted leave out of sheer xenophobic spite (angry that they can't get jobs "because of immigrants" when in reality its because they cant get off their asses)

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 15/01/2019 21:22

I hope common sense will prevail.

SillySallySingsSongs · 15/01/2019 21:22

JC didn't call for vote of NO confidence.

Yes he did

Mrs May did.

No she said she would clear room in parliamentary business if he did and would break convention if he didn't and others wanted to. She forced his hand.

It is Labours tabled motion

VamillaSugar · 15/01/2019 21:22

What do we want?

How about cancelling the whole sorry shenanigans?

paintinmyhairAgain · 15/01/2019 21:22

america has trump and we have corbyn makes me want to leave the planet on the next space flight.

AuldAlliance · 15/01/2019 21:23

I'm in France, and the reaction around me (with the exception of a few colleagues who are specialists in British politics/culture) is a combination of a "bof"-style Gallic shrug as they wryly observe the total shambles in the UK and increasing irritation at the duration of the chaos and at the uncertainty it is creating in many areas. Or total indifference, TBH.

The only pro-Brexit people I have ever encountered here are extreme right wingers. The French experience of Occupation and all it entailed (my French ex-FIL was a Résistance member who was lucky enough to still be alive (just) when the concentration camp he was in was liberated) means that while people may agree the EU is not perfect, most are far too aware of the advantages of peace in post-WW2 Europe to think that even contemplating leaving the EU is a viable option.

Yes, the UK is embarrassing itself.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 15/01/2019 21:23

Trump and Brexit are 2 cheeks from the same populist arse. Both are failing.

Iamdanish · 15/01/2019 21:24

chockaholic72
Experts have actually referred to Grexit, saying that "up till now we have always reached an agreement. Perhaps Brexit will be the example of how wrong/bad things can go".
But you are right, most cannot understand you, and perhaps we think you (your politicians) are nuts or suffer from megalomania. Sorry 😀

asdfghjk111 · 15/01/2019 21:25

jeremy corbyn is not comprable to trump. get off your high conservative horse and think of someone else like corbyn and unlike trump

jasjas1973 · 15/01/2019 21:26

Trump is in power, Corbyn is not, we have T.May, who is worse than Trump.

Doobydoo · 15/01/2019 21:27

asd...feck off....i voted leave and for none of the reasons you have put

RedWineIsFabulous · 15/01/2019 21:27

Corbyn gives me chills. The mans a snake and only out for his own political agenda.

He lost a motion of confidence vote himself in his own Labour Party in June 2016 yet STILL remains leader of the Labour Party to this day.

Where IS corbyns alternative on this? What exactly is he bringing to the table and how can he “ re negotiate “ with the EU?

Fucking arsehole. I hate him.

XingMing · 15/01/2019 21:27

Jasjas, if you study serious subjects (rather than basket-weaving) and are prepared to follow work rather than expecting it to find you, then there are opportunities. Stick to arts subjects and busybodying, then fewer.

SillySallySingsSongs · 15/01/2019 21:27

Back onto the old if you don't like Corbyn you must be Tory.

Change the record. asdfghjk111

AhhhHereItGoes · 15/01/2019 21:28

The whole thing is a shit show. Sounds just like the plot of a The Thivk of It episode.

AhhhHereItGoes · 15/01/2019 21:29

Thick obviously.

i DONT like corbyn but i hate torys even more. Our country is in the shitter and triggering art. 50 will be flushing. also idc why someone voted leave, it all contributes to increasing xenophobia

SillySallySingsSongs · 15/01/2019 21:30

No point asking that question to a deeply divided party

She was also asking it to the opposition. No one is the wiser as to what they want either.

asdfghjk111 · 15/01/2019 21:31

also corbyn is useless and possibly the worst thing that happened to the labour party but he has morals and has fairer beliefs than the conservatives
