I loathe Rees Mogg and Johnson almost as much as I do Corbyn but I wouldn’t shout insults at them if I saw them and I would condem anyone else who did so

If by righteous you mean I don’t agree with shouting at people in the street then yes, I most certainly am.
You don’t know my political position or whether I want to Brexit or not so don’t make assumptions
I just don’t like the way this country has become hate filled on both sides and certain people can’t express themselves without resorting to insults and abuse. I find the weaker the actual argument the louder The shouting

Of course it was wrong for Soubry to be surrounded by a mob who were all shouting words full of hate at her. I’d say it would be wrong for that to happen to anyone actually.

She is an MP, it is her job to speak out on political matters. We can’t try and crush those who we don’t agree with so we only hear the opinions we want to.

Henrietta I would spew threatening abuse at you but it would get my post deleted. Quite right too because that kind of behaviour is thuggish and should not be tolerated. 'direct democracy' my arse.

Like all elected politicians Soubry has a duty to represent the constituents and their own views in a rational way so that they can be discussed and ultimately be decided on. If they are speaking the word of a god, or spouting complete bollocks, it should be listened to respectfully before the discussion. If what they say is considered to be the right way to progress then democracy, as practiced in the UK will be served.
