There's a deal.

The press are over excited.

May has united the country.

Everyone hates it.
(Apart from David Allen Green)

Parliament might yet reject it.

Nothing is yet decided and everything is still to be sorted.

James Forsyth @JGForsyth
Am told argument gaining traction within the ERG is that 48 letters wouldn’t necessarily bring down May but would show that this Brexit deal couldn’t pass the Commons without wholesale Labour support

And thats how the Tory Whips are trying to stop no confidence letters.

Leavers have always expected some magical solution to come along. Is time up at last?

ClashCityRocker · 14/11/2018 19:10

I'm just sat hitting refresh on various feeds....

We are in a democracy. We are still in the EU. Sensibly and respectfully we sort this out. Smile Thegirl

Vote of no confidence watch > Senior Brexiteer source: ERG haven't adopted collective position; Certainly a risk of it happening by accident; Prob won't happen until MPs have at least seen proposed deal; likelihood of vote now high; Could happen tomorrow/within the next week

RedToothBrush · 14/11/2018 19:18

Telegraph reporting cabinet has backed the deal

Statement just issued: "The Bow Group & members of the Brexit Advance Coalition call on the Prime Minister to resign immediately"

The Bow Group used to be a major Tory group

"Collective agreement of the cabinet to back the deal."

OP posts:
RedToothBrush · 14/11/2018 19:22

It was a choice between no deal, no brexit or this deal.

RedToothBrush · 14/11/2018 19:23

In the national interest.

“Long and impassioned debate” by cabinet. “Collective position of cabinet” to agree draft Withdrawal Agreement and Outline Political Declaration . There were dissenters! “Difficult days ahead” admits @theresa_may

Looks like the horror movie as it is.

On Channel 4 news her mouth was moving but different sounds came out.

"Stop Brexit" echoing down the Mall.

Those @sodem heroes are heroes.

May confirms cabinet has agreed draft Brexit withdrawal agreement

Hazardswan · 14/11/2018 19:26

Well done to the man shouting STOP BREXIT what a set of lungs.

mostdays · 14/11/2018 19:30

Well, if it's a choice between this deal, no deal and no Brexit it's a no brainer. No Brexit will do nicely, thanks.

BBC News had the same problem as C4 News

Lol woman. That's like brexiteer talk. We will sort this out because we will. How exactly, practically?

I agree of course with the shouting guy but I found it quite irritating because I wanted to hear what TM was saying. I could be totally wrong but I thought "I did what I did for the good of the country" sounded a bit like she knows her number will be up by the end of the week, despite having reached fragile consensus today. Resignations to follow maybe? Who knows at this point!

Civil servants told to stop including DUP in Brexit emails as partnership with Conservatives crumbles | The Independent www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/dup-conservatives-emails-civil-servants-brexit-deal-confidence-supply-agreement-a8633896.html

Is this true?

SusanWalker · 14/11/2018 19:35

're the letters going in, I'm sorry but we had a vote and TM won. Even if the margin she won by was very narrow we must not and can not have political elites trying to overturn democracy just because they don't like the result. Grin
