Only 1 rule.
No c&p posts a mile long, they’re just boring & no one reads them.
Keep it short, sweet, & to the point.

Peace & Love ❤️🇬🇧❤️

What do you plan to do with specific types of Remainers. We're stockpiling all the booze 🍷

Oooh was me leaving a flounce?

Very exciting

I dont want to flounce...but i think that this is going to go the same way as the others

I wouldnt be very comfortable in a real pub were views were so polarised and that every ten minutes someone saying that everyone who voted a certain way was.....not welcome/ stupid/ all the same

But there you go

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 09/09/2018 10:44

And thats people who voted both leave and remain by the way

I think both can be as bad as the other...some of them anyway

Even if there was a 70s disco, with surfer running the bar? I'm sick of the fighting, let's have some mum dancing Grin Here's Donna Summer.

1tisILeClerc · 09/09/2018 11:38

Nice song, takes me back to my 'disco' era.
Puzzled as to why the video seems to be miming to a different song though.

1tisILeClerc · 09/09/2018 12:04

Leo Sayer, I feel like dancing?

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 09/09/2018 12:52

Wait what??

There's a disco?

Right ill have a bop then women

But first hint of trouble and I'll be prancing my way back out Grin

Went to party last night and dh did karaoke

I may need a good divorce lawyer...people were smiling sympathetically at me Sad

1tisILeClerc · 09/09/2018 12:55

At least a disco is more fun than bingo, surely.

Rufustheyawningreindeer · 09/09/2018 16:34

Christ yes

"After all, the Brexit future belongs to those of us on the right side of history"

So you won't be blaming anyone else if it goes wrong, then? Good to see someone finally taking ownership of the cliff.

lljkk · 09/09/2018 17:56

what will "freedom" bring, for those of you so looking forward?
What's the first fantastic change you hope to see?
("feelings" don't count, I want to hear about something tangible that everyone even non-voters could notice)

SacrebleuLondres · 09/09/2018 18:50

@lijkk

You are on a leaver thread asking for details?Just sayin.

1tisILeClerc · 09/09/2018 18:59

Getting bored of Donna Summer now, is there nothing else on?
Boney M had some nice tunes. Was Rasputin a bit 'Boris' like?

Hazardswan · 09/09/2018 19:02

What up dawgs!

I've read the news again and it's driven me to drink again

Can we put the classic Living on a Prayer on the jukebox?

lljkk · 09/09/2018 19:11

Was that your way of dodging the question, Sacribleu?

10degreestostarboard · 09/09/2018 19:15

Lljkk

The first fantastic change will hopefully - if they hard Brexit and do it properly - be returning all areas of policy decision to the uk from foreign soil...

Your welcome, now where is my g&t... :)

10degreestostarboard · 09/09/2018 19:18

Hasenstein

If we are to believe various threads on mumsnet (ad nauseum) then hardened remainers are already getting Irish etc passports so presumably won’t be here to point the fickle finger of blame.

Peanuts!?

lljkk · 09/09/2018 19:20

Is it fine by you, 10degrees, if none of the policies change, or if the UK happens to have identical policies with EU anyway, say in 5 years time?

1tisILeClerc · 09/09/2018 19:25

I don't want to take the party atmosphere down but it might be an idea to have a quick 'shufti' at some of the rights of women particularly that the ERG are planning to scrap or reform in a rather 'backward' way.
If you don't intend to ever go outside the UK you won't need a passport of course.

1tisILeClerc · 09/09/2018 19:27

There is of course the paradox that Leavers want massive and visible CHANGE but they also want to keep many of the freedoms and benefits of being in the EU.

Assuming your question wasn’t tongue in cheek - no problem with us having parallel laws in years to come. But that’s the point, they will be OUR laws
