I've been reading Brexit threads and it's always the same people talking about how unhappy they are about Brexit.
I guess Brexit leave voters have no time to waste on forums.

OP starts thread like this:
I guess Brexit leave voters have no time to waste on forums.
Then gets upset that people reply. Grin

Op regards your snide comment that Brexit voters 'have no time to waste on forums' - I'm afraid that in general, people in work (full or part time, public sector or private sector) voted to remain.

It was people who are not working who voted Leave.

Yet another thing you've got wrong.

Ihatemycar · 22/08/2018 09:29

@MotherofPearl so we did nothing to liberate Europe? So the billions that we finish paying not long ago was for what exactly...

OP posts:
Ihatemycar · 22/08/2018 09:30

@Bearbehind I don't even know what GF means.

bellinisurge · 22/08/2018 09:31

@Ihatemycar thanks for your pity. And your entertaining posts.

Kewqueue · 22/08/2018 09:32

If you want to stay in the EU go and live there. Experience the utopia for yourselves.

Well, I do live in one of the EU countries which is not leaving (you are ignoring the fact that the UK is also in the EU) but it is pretty crass to tell people to go and live there when you have voted for them to lose their rights to do just that.

Helmetbymidnight · 22/08/2018 09:32

Dear God, we received billions from the Marshall Plan. How do you not know this?

Ihatemycar · 22/08/2018 09:33

@Helmetbymidnight so now Leave voters don't work. Gosh 17.4 million of us staying at home.
I don't know how this country sustains so many people not working.

OP posts:
Spreadingcudweed · 22/08/2018 09:33

Don't worry folks.

It'll all be ok because the coffee shops near the op are busy!

Is this for real?????

Ihatemycar · 22/08/2018 09:35

@Helmetbymidnight we didn't get enough to cover all. Even if we did does that make it ok?
Why can't you recognise what the UK has done for Europe.
Why do you think people want to leave?

OP posts:
Helmetbymidnight · 22/08/2018 09:36

Oh dear, your understanding of everything is so poor.

You started out with a snide - oh leavers don't have time to be on forums. I'm now explaining to you - that the stats show quite clearly that Remain voters work more than Leave voters.

I know you find statistics and history troubling but these are facts.

Ihatemycar · 22/08/2018 09:37

@Spreadingcudweed I only talked about coffee shops as an example of how well business are doing in my area.

OP posts:
Helmetbymidnight · 22/08/2018 09:37

We didn't even get a thank you or help to rebuild.

So you admit we DID get help to rebuild? You were either lying or just being ignorant again with your earlier comment?

Helmetbymidnight · 22/08/2018 09:38

Why can't you recognise what the UK has done for Europe

Eh? Where is this now coming from?

Who has said UK has done nothing for Europe.

Stop making things up.

Ihatemycar · 22/08/2018 09:39

@Helmetbymidnight where do you get your stats?
That's a ridiculous statement. Now leave voters work less or not at all...Confused

OP posts:
TheElementsSong · 22/08/2018 09:42

we didn't get enough to cover all

Impressive how we've smoothly gone from "we got no help therefore Waah" to "we didn't get everything on a velvet cushion therefore Waah" Grin

MotherofPearl · 22/08/2018 09:42

@Helmetbymidnight

I share your frustration, but I fear that OP - like most Leavers - is living in a post-fact, post-truth world. Statistics and factual information mean nothing in that world.

Helmetbymidnight · 22/08/2018 09:44

www.ipsos.com/ipsos-mori/en-uk/how-britain-voted-2016-eu-referendum

Perhaps this will help.

I'm explaining to you that the stats show that leave voters are more likely not to be at work than remain voters. They are more likely to be retired or out of work.

I realise this may be uncomfortable to you given your snide opening remarks.

You might also want to google the Marshall Plan too seeing as you didn't even know it happened.

Helmetbymidnight · 22/08/2018 09:47

ARGHGHGHGHGHGHHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHG

Seriously.

ARGHHGHGHGHGHGHGGHGHHGHGHGHGHGHGH

TheElementsSong · 22/08/2018 09:49

BTW, if "17 million" is such an important talismanic number, then "16 million" should be an equally important talismanic number as it arose from exactly the same earth-shatteringly historical event. Of course, the second number has to be poofed out of existence and never mentioned, because it's a lot less impressive to type "There was a 1 million majority - it would take only 500000 people to change their minds."

MotherofPearl · 22/08/2018 09:49

Not sure if that ARGH post is directed at me or OP. Hmm

Raglansleeve · 22/08/2018 09:51

People that know how to expand and grow outside the EU like Dyson. They been trading under TWO for years

Yup, and they took all their manufacturing out of the UK.

Oh, and nothing has changed because we haven't actually left yet.

I'm actually starting to turn to Russian media to help me decide on the big issues - if Russian media is supporting something (i.e. Scottish independence, Brexit), it's obviously destabilising for the UK and Europe and should be avoided at all costs. That was a joke. Kinda.

Most experts believe we are in line for a really difficult time, but hell, what would experts know - far rather believe those who think Britain is Great, we won the war, there'll be bluebirds over etc etc.

Helmetbymidnight · 22/08/2018 09:53

It's in 100% percent agreement with you @MotherofPearl

but I have to ARGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHHGHGHGHG again.

MotherofPearl · 22/08/2018 09:56

I hear ya.

Helmetbymidnight · 22/08/2018 09:59

Spreadingcudweed · 22/08/2018 10:05

Dyson has also (in his recent interview with Andrew Marr) said that post -Brexit he wanted to 'take advantage of a more flexible labour market' (or words to that effect) which basically means less worker protection. He was quite open about it.
