Still work to be done but it’s another step in the right direction.

Wine

Ps: completely given up on the Brexit Arms as it’s been taken over by remainers.
This is our chilled out place to post on in the run up to March 2019.

I have spent 40 years seeing what was a trade partner turn into a monster..
So I did know what I voted for... thanks very much D.C.. the idiot.

OliviaD68 · 24/03/2018 13:55

mummmy

You just said you didn't know what you voted for - using an analogy of car's colour.

Now you say you do.

Which is it?

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 13:59

Olivia you personally asked me about the deal...
So I asked you about a car.....
Come on dear play fair, you tell me about the car and if your right I can use that info to tell you about the deal....

LondonMum8 · 24/03/2018 14:01

"D.C.. the idiot."

He was and you sound like a mischievous child who knows she did something wrong (otherwise you would call DC a very wise PM).

OliviaD68 · 24/03/2018 14:02

I confidently say two cars only will drive in front my house - silver and anthracite. I own both and live at the end of a cul de sac.

Tell me about the deal.

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 14:05

I'm So sorry Oliva but it's when your not home. Try again

OliviaD68 · 24/03/2018 14:07

I work from home luv.

Only two cars. Mine. No other cars.

Go.

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 14:09

Wrong then it's red the postman...

BertrandRussell · 24/03/2018 14:13

So you voted for something you had absolutely no idea how/whether would work. And you are happy to admit that. Hmm

What did you vote for?

OliviaD68 · 24/03/2018 14:13

Who walks along the public pathway in front of my house to hand me the mail. And it's a post woman, thanks very much.

Now, enough cop outs.

What deal do you think there will be and how will this address the Irish border?

You've voted to sell your house and move out without knowing where you're moving to or what your new house will look like or what it costs.

Unless you tell us otherwise.

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 14:24

Your positive could be ill. A person is not a car. You might not get post that day... these are all varibles that mean you can't give an answer and state 100% on a day you don't know who will drive past.
The deal ... I don't know too many varibles untill it is signed on and released to the public...

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 14:26

The house thing... sorted. Stuff in storage booking hotel till find a house I want to buy.

BertrandRussell · 24/03/2018 14:28

Problem with that analogy is that our stuff isn't safely in storage-it's being put through a crusher........

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 14:31

Don't worry we took out contents insurance on it all WTA You know just in case....

Peregrina · 24/03/2018 14:34

Lost its majority of seats by stupidly calling an unnecessary election.

But when you tried to make a claim, you found that this, that and the other was excluded by clauses in the small print, which you hadn't noticed. That's what insurance companies are like: wriggle out of paying if they can.

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 14:42

I am paying your stupid game. You are being given answer.. if they are not the ones you want that may be because this is the wrong place to answer them.
No the insurance is solid it can and does pay out with wear and tear included.
However if you don't want the payment just don't cash the cheque..

OliviaD68 · 24/03/2018 14:48

Yeah. It's a game mummmy . All a game.

Don't worry your pretty little head about it though. All will be fine.

The Greeks were right.

Peregrina · 24/03/2018 14:48

Not sure about the Insurance if it's with May & Co. A dodgy firm which promises much but then quietly goes back on its word.

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 14:57

WTA INSURANCE is world wide so a safe bet as a no deal resort...
Olivia you poor dear... your classed by the Greeks as exactly the same as me....
It's your game... You know the one where you pretend it comes right on the 2nd vote.....

AgnesSkinner · 24/03/2018 15:09

Why do you need tennis insurance? Confused

SusanWalker · 24/03/2018 15:12

We're really not in the position of being able to afford an indefinite stay in a hotel and storage costs. The WTO will be like giving up your house and moving into a static caravan, in winter.

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 15:23

When things change there are always unknown . No one can 100% know the future ...
We do know life may change but we also know the UK isn't going to disappear ...

Talkstotrees · 24/03/2018 15:25

Sorry for taking a while to answer surfer, was out to lunch with a friend. I do use both Twitter and Facebook - with my real name (happy to here but it doesn’t seem to be the done thing) - and I do discuss Brexit on both. Less so Facebook as I tend to use that for social/family/sports. Unfortunately the arguments there seem to be pretty similar to those here. Although perhaps even more forthright - which is odd given your contention that we’re all hiding behind anonymity Hmm
