Good news yesterday < gets out green highlighter >
Still work to be done but it’s another step in the right direction.

Wine

Ps: completely given up on the Brexit Arms as it’s been taken over by remainers.
This is our chilled out place to post on in the run up to March 2019.

Positive people only Smile

Ghost is sat on a sofa in the middle of the street on her sofa waiting for orders ... seem the EU Bot. Houses people...

R is not happy it didn't get past the post first.... how many times do we run the race... by the way everyone else on the field has gone on their way.... alll your posts have the same premise....if only we could change the result we could live in last law land...

bearbehind · 24/03/2018 12:29

mummmy, you really do nothing to dispel the rumour that Leavers were brainwashed.

Your posts make zero sense.

You have voted to make the country poorer and refuse to acknowledge that.

BrandySchnapps · 24/03/2018 12:29

Anyone want to make positive comments about the Leave campaign using Facebook data?

The official leave campaign?

They didn't.

LondonMum8 · 24/03/2018 12:30

@mummy2017 Sounds like a bit of an early start this morning? Might want to take it easy.

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 12:30

Hey blame Ghost she is the one in the street ......
London agree on what you said....you prove my point to Ghost ....

GhostofFrankGrimes · 24/03/2018 12:32

I'm sitting in the street because my house was sold from under me on a whim by people who put their faith in estate agents and failed politicians called Nigel. Thanks!

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 12:33

I know i voted to change things... bad for a while then hope for better....
Whoops stated this all the time for about 2 years... how come you can take this in... this is a view lots of us hold...OMG change costs...

BrandySchnapps · 24/03/2018 12:34

Funny that 63% of the electorate didn’t vote Leave eh?

And a larger % didn't vote to remain.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 24/03/2018 12:37

Mummy, the problems are thus;

  1. What you voted for was a wing and a prayer
  2. Many people in this country are already at the point in which they cannot afford to get poorer for any length of time. Even if they are promised unicorns and rainbows at the end of the hardship.
mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 12:37

Leave got more votes... how can you not accept this...
If Labour had got more votes the Torus would have accepted it...
Wow snowflakes here or what...

LondonMum8 · 24/03/2018 12:37

@mummmy2017 I've got no trouble following Ghosts' points today.

surferjet · 24/03/2018 12:39

Talkstotrees
I don’t believe a single remainer comes on these threads to delve deep into the minds of two or three random strangers.
Also, I’d imagine Twitter, & indeed Facebook groups, would have far more leavers for you to talk to to gain this insight you so desperately seek.
But I’m imagining you wouldn’t be so cavalier with your posts on Twitter & FB, as you’d get far more abuse back ( not condoning that, but those forums can be a bit more brutal shall we say )
So, I conclude that you’re bullies who hide behind anonymous names to take the piss out of a few middle-aged housewives - who just happen to be happy.

How brave of you.

@mummy2017:

Leave got more votes... how can you not accept this...

Leave campaign was based on blatant lies, rampant populism, algorithmically targeted fake news, and likely funded by Russia. Those are some of the reasons why we don't accept this, for the country's sake.

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 12:44

Do you often stand and scream till you get your own way....
If someone says no to you do you have a breakdown.
Try reality you won't like it but we don't care , what is will be , you have no choose.....

AgnesSkinner · 24/03/2018 12:45

Brandy but 37% of the electorate is not a majority for a huge constitution change. It is not the will of 63% of the people who did not vote for Leave, whether that 63% either specifically voted to Remain or did not vote for any one of a number of reasons.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 24/03/2018 12:45

This is what you are reduced to - "we won, you lost". This is the mentality of a child. Your vote will have consequences for the entire country for decades to come. Peoples livelihoods, jobs etc hinge on this vote yet all the evidence, including the governments own assessments suggest we are all going to be worse off. This is not the playground, this is reality. Please grow up and accept actions have consequences and people should take accountability for those actions.

bearbehind · 24/03/2018 12:46

surfer and mummmy and any other Leavers, given that the only solution to the NI border issue is to remain in SM/CU and there's no viable alternative on the cards; how will you feel when if that happens?

Will you be angry your hopes of change and aspirations of being free will have been completely in vain?

And if your response is that you don't believe we will remain in Sm/CU, can you tell us why and how? And not just because TM said so.

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 12:51

The will be a trade agreement...

LondonMum8 · 24/03/2018 12:53

@surferjet nobody is taking a piss to any large extent, we are just trying to engage in a basic conversation, with limited success. You are one of the worst interlocutors here.
You basically never respond to direct material questions, and your contributions fall broadly into the following categories:

  • "Go away Remainers"
  • "OMG Remainers coming here not being positive about Brexit"
  • "We won, suck it up"
  • Personal attacks

Pretty poor show.

Peregrina · 24/03/2018 12:53

I don't agree that the NHS has been in trouble for decades, nor Education. Some Governments, Tory as well as Labour have done a reasonable enough job in the past. They are both areas where there is always more which can be done.

I certainly agree that the vote was a protest against Westminster, and I would hope that eventually Westminster is fully rumbled. Why is there no support for fishing? Because Westminster sold the rights to Dutch vessels. Why is the new community centre not being built?Because there was a large grant from the EU and Westminster hasn't chosen to replace the money, (preferring tax cuts for the already extremely wealthy). And so on.

mummmy2017 · 24/03/2018 12:54

Reality... your the ones who can't face it is done. And we have to wait and see.... not me and surferjet....

GhostofFrankGrimes · 24/03/2018 12:54

The will be a trade agreement...

Good because IIRC you were previously advocating hard brexit. You'll take what you're given, which wont be very much - rendering Brexit an expensive waste of time.

OliviaD68 · 24/03/2018 12:56

@mummmy2017

The will be a trade agreement ...

What will it resemble?

How will it address the NI border?

AgnesSkinner · 24/03/2018 12:58

Vote Leave spent over £3 million with AggregateIQ in the run up to the referendum. AIQ and CA are reported to be intertwined. Funny how Dominic Cummings deleted his Twitter account just after the Observer published on this.

BrandySchnapps · 24/03/2018 12:58
