Good news yesterday < gets out green highlighter >
Still work to be done but it’s another step in the right direction.

Wine

Ps: completely given up on the Brexit Arms as it’s been taken over by remainers.
This is our chilled out place to post on in the run up to March 2019.

Positive people only Smile

Your question is too wide to not allow anything said to taken the wrong way.
What's your own answer. To your own question?

LondonMum8 · 23/03/2018 10:25

@Mummy2017 Not sure I understand your response, but basically it's a rhetorical question. Your response tells me that even in the face of a glaringly obvious fact detracting from the appeal of Brexit, you will not acknowledge it. This is a very sad finding, and if this phenomenon is more widespread, it would put the value of our democracy further in question. People, the glorifed decision makers, can be staggeringly irrational :(

mummmy2017 · 23/03/2018 10:28

Your question was about my thoughts on Putin and Brexit. You take on my answer is mushroom compost.

As to widespread. USA elections wide enough for you.

LondonMum8 · 23/03/2018 10:30

I rest my case.

Talkstotrees · 23/03/2018 10:41

I’m fairly well educated, reasonably well informed and relatively intelligent (just stating facts, not bragging) - but I cannot understand mummmy’s posts. Is this because her arguments are nonsensical or because my brain will not accept them?

I’m not sure - but I do know that the grammatical and spelling errors don’t help (sorry mummmy and yes, depending on the circumstances of our acquaintance in rl, I might well point out your mistakes).

mummmy2017 · 23/03/2018 10:42

Lol someone says a question is too full of points to answer without you miss reading an answer and you do it anyway... Here let me help you with your case where are you going by the way......

It is simply really... I refuse to answer as my answer would be misinterpreted ... So you misinterpreted my not wanting to answer.. wow

mummmy2017 · 23/03/2018 10:47

When the EU have just agreed to move forward, yet you still can not face it and your all pretending.

Just who here needs needs to borrow the brain cell..

The views I am posting seem like basic logic. Nothing I say is way out there fairyland. It comments you will find from MPs.
I often sit and laugh with friends over coffee at the remainders on MN. We think you are all deluded and will come down to earth with a bump when no 2nd vote appears and you have to accept what we have already taken on aboard the day after the 1st vote.
10 million normal people think like I do. I am only in the minority on MN as your in a little click.... And it's protecting you a bit like when you leave school and find out your not all that after all.

Mummmy, your argument seems to be just a differently worded version of “we won, you lost; get over it”. We will not stop feeling dismayed at the prospect of Brexit and all it will bring - and, because of the kind of people we are, we will not stop being vocal about it. Nice to know you sit laughing about people who are losing their jobs and their rights (perhaps I need to reasses my opinion of you).

We are constantly requesting that you outline just what will be gained by leaving the EU but the Leavers here always refuse - apparently because Remainers jump on and debunk the myths - doesn’t that tell you something? If the reasons added up then they couldn’t be debunked and we’d have to - perhaps reluctantly in some cases - admit the you have a point. On current evidence you do not. Convince us.

Btw, your bubble is just your bubble, as mine is mine. My bubble suggests that 95% of people oppose Brexit but I’m not naive enough to accept that at face value.

mummmy2017 · 23/03/2018 11:21

So sorry but in my job I actually get paid for the logic that my brain produces... I have about 85% success rate on predictions. Seems my brain processes things differently which might be why I have so many real life friends who talk their plans through with me....

Talkstotrees · 23/03/2018 11:24

More incomprehensible, irrelevant brain farts. I have no idea what you’re talking about Confused

mummmy2017 · 23/03/2018 11:27

Talktothetrees. Logic says this is happening.
That people don't have the answers you want because nothing is sorted yet. Right now things change all the time so how can we give answers to unknowns.
People are not against or for anymore they just want it sorted so they can move forward...
Begging us to reply is just being used so you can bash us.... which means your still in denial about leaving.. which leads to you feeling angry.

LondonMum8 · 23/03/2018 11:29

@Mummy2017: Intriguing. May I ask what sort of predictions do you make for a living?

mummmy2017 · 23/03/2018 11:30

Why do I have visions of you dancing around with your face mask on fingers in ears shouting not listening...

Do you do this a lot... to cope?

surferjet · 23/03/2018 11:36

mummmy2017 you make me laugh 🤣

Logic says that BINO is the only option available. Logic then asks what is the point?

Your’re happy to accept that Brexit will definitely happen even though we don’t know what it will consist of? What if it looks like being an unmitigated disaster and most people don’t want it? You’d still insist on it being forced through because: will of the people 23/6/16?

Some people just want it sorted.

Not begging, just encouraging debate - trying to understand the views held. Again, my point is that if your argument was unbashable we would have to concede.

Too right I’m angry. And despairing.

LondonMum8 · 23/03/2018 11:45

OK, I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess she is a local fortune teller...

Talkstotrees · 23/03/2018 11:47

London, I have my suspicions.

mummmy2017 · 23/03/2018 11:47

I work for a charity that helps small business ventures. Bit like an angel. Some comes with an idea and we talk through with them the pros and cons of things. Like opening a shop. Costs and if it would be profitable, some of the ideas are way out there. Telling someone that ordering 1000 of an item when they will only sell one a week even if it has 100% Mark up would tie up their cash for years where as the cheaper item would sell 100 a week less cost but better profits....

Talkstotrees · 23/03/2018 11:48

Lol, cross post
