If we don't sort this out we are going to have a war between poor people and rich people.

OP posts:
RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:00

we must fight against tax avoidance and tax havens

Direct election of EU president....

PlatoTheGreat · 28/06/2016 10:01

Did anyone ever think that the EU would be all happy to let the UK sort things out, take their time and do their way, even if it's causing problems to everyone else?

Muddlingalongalone · 28/06/2016 10:01

Wish I was watching instead of at work! German guy sounds great.

Interesting article in Suddeutschezeitung if I understood it correctly saying EU need us to press the red button on article 50 asap because until then the EU is still 28 states not 27 and they can't have us halting their progress (I.e vetting/voting against) due to our delaying tactics

GingerIvy · 28/06/2016 10:01

Interesting. He looks actually more angry with the EU, than the UK over some of this. Socialist though, makes sense.

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:02

Brit speaking.

Syed Kamal. Conservative.

Another dig at the British.

Our attempts to prevent EU legislation on tax havens are over.

We've already lost our plum commissioner portfolio.

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:02

Both sides of the channel need to stop and think about negiotion strategy.

I rather presumed that some things require anonymous agreement, and there is a concern that the UK could hold up by refusing in order to gain leverage? I don't know if that's true or not, but I did wonder if that's their rush.

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:03

Talked about mutually beneficial.

The deal not the speed is more important.
(booed)

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:04

Lots of noise (in disagreement)

Clapping was half hearted.

OP posts:
GingerIvy · 28/06/2016 10:05

I'm sorry, did he just say it's not the spirit in which we deal with each other, but the deal we get in the end?? Didn't hear a happy response to that!!!

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:06

Belgian Liberal.

The choice was clear and has to be respected.
Its hard to accept.

Its hard to accept because of the way it was done.

Farage getting pasted over Nazi propaganda.
Lots of cheers.

Never thought it was possible that someone in this house would to such of things.

Turkey and 350million mentioned.

GingerIvy · 28/06/2016 10:06

I wonder if that was a mix up, he stumbled over his words a few times, and may have been an unfortunate mistake.

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:07

The most shocking the hate.

the choice of the people is democracy. that is not what the people had.

OP posts:
GingerIvy · 28/06/2016 10:08

I don't think the EU would accept a change of heart even if we did revote, listening to this.

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:08

Going on about how they are saying the markets are a glitch.
Saying he hopes that's is the case....

A toxic climate has been created for all hard working decent people mr farage.

OP posts:
LatinForTelly · 28/06/2016 10:08

Interesting that he applied the 'project fear' label to the Leave side! He's right.

GingerIvy · 28/06/2016 10:09

toxic climate in the UK

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:09

The selfishness of Boris....

Prime minister of the dual kingdom of England and wales....

(not the united kingdom)

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:11

We need a healthy memory, to return to the great ideas of our founding fathers.

We need an effective EU government and borders. We need a way to defend.

(call for EU army).

OP posts:
RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:13

German Left Now up.

Referendum very important.
More than a vote.
It should be respected.

It is wrong to say that the British people have decided.

We are talking about European Union.

That's why my group are unable to vote in favour of the resolution
(ON OUR SIDE).

OP posts:
RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:14

Not talking about what wrong with the EU and our failings.
(Its not all the UK's fault).

OP posts:
GoudyStout · 28/06/2016 10:15

Gosh, this is better than subtitles.
