How blind are the members of the council?
Blaming them for the deal offered by the EU in Feb.

How would that encourage the poor to vote for the EU.

Equal pay promoted, we could have eased some of the problems.

Now saying Farage ran a petty campaign. The elite got behind you. Your name will go down in the history book as you are. For fanning fear.

You are not for the people.

No negitotions until a50.

We must show solidarity, to NI people.

No back room deals.

EU Parliament must be involved in negotiations all the way

DoinItFine · 28/06/2016 10:19

This is great, RedTooth.

Can't find better live blogging of this anywhere 👍

GingerIvy · 28/06/2016 10:20

Woman behind speaker taking selfies. Good grief.

DoinItFine · 28/06/2016 10:20

LOL nice try EP.

You will not be involved in negotiations.

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:21

Belgian Green

A time when national politics suspended.
There was a time when we opened up to European politics.

In wake of the referendum there is a time to push forward.

BUT

There is a lot of suspicion.

We have a choice to make, and we need to recognise this suspicion and have an answer to it

It IS a democrat soveregnity.

But you are lying when you say that on your own even the biggest nations can fight globalisation.

You can only have sovernety by SHARing that soventity

Thank you RTB, really helpful stuff.

Making the rich richer is not going to profit society. We're seeing a marginalisation of our citizens.

Juncker looks irritable.

Chalalala · 28/06/2016 10:23

I'm also not sure the EU would accept a change of heart now, it would be a poisoned gift anyway - can you imagine the animosity in the European Parliament if UKIP MEPs stayed on... also, eurosceptic parties all over Europe would have a field day saying that the EU ignored the results of yet another referendum. I'm really not sure it's a political possibility for the UK to stay on now.

GingerIvy · 28/06/2016 10:24

Can we have free trade without it just being a chosen few that benefit?

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:24

Making the rich richer is not going to help society.
Globalisation, is not helping anyone when it does this.

(Sorry for spelling above - in essence that soverigntity can only be maintained by working together and sharing problems)

Talking about whether it is possible to have unity on tax, refugees, social issues etc. Says possible if you want it.

OP posts:
GingerIvy · 28/06/2016 10:25

He basically is saying we need to see this referendum as a warning from all citizens that we need to make changes.

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:25

FARAGE UP.

HEckled.

Looks like he is going to be an arse.

He has said three words.

OP posts:
Chalalala · 28/06/2016 10:25

yes thanks for the liveblogging Red!

MrsLupo · 28/06/2016 10:26

Jesus, he is such a liability.

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:26

Says EU is in denial.

Saying its funny, you laughed at me. You are not laughing at me now.

OP posts:
GingerIvy · 28/06/2016 10:26

Eeeeek. Nigel is talking. People are being told they must listen to him even if they don't like his opinion.

GingerIvy · 28/06/2016 10:26

Oh fuck. he's going on the attack.

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:27

You have by stealth and deception imposed upon them a political union.

When Netherlands voted against you, you brought the Lisbon treaty through the back door.

(clapped for that).

OP posts:
GingerIvy · 28/06/2016 10:27

youre in denial that your's currency is failing. just look atthe mediterranean.

(slamming them over their treatment of greece)

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:29

Said vote against big companies and big policy.

Said a beacon of hope.

says we should hit the a50 button soon.

Says whats a grown up attitude to negiotition

said most of you have never had a proper job in life.

Much heckling.

OP posts:
DoinItFine · 28/06/2016 10:29

I think they would accept a change of heart if it was done properly.

At least one of the speakers was pretty clear on that.

It would still hurt us though.

This is just the parliament, though.

It's pretty much a talking shop.

These people have precious little influence on what will happen.

GingerIvy · 28/06/2016 10:30

oh my , he's turned it around slightly. getting applause.

We won't be the last to leave.

I agree with Juncker that we need to invoke A50. I would like to see a grown up sensible attitude to how we negotiate.

And back to insults - you've most never done a proper job or worked in business or trade or created a job. Yeesh.
