I am cringing. I thought my shame at being British couldn't be any greater, but I was wrong.

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:30

Stopped by 'speaker'

Told the MEPs to shut up and listen and stop behaving like UKIP normally does and told farage he could not say that.

Now saying that this position is worse for Europe than us.
No deal is better than this current deal for uk.

"[Farage] said most of you have never had a proper job in life."

That's really going to help, isn't it?

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:31

saying we will be the EU's best friend.... if we have a sensible deal.
Or we will take all the german car jobs.

LOTS of LOUD booing.

Shulz - audience you are acting like UKIP normally acts.

Then he told off Farage that he can't say nobody has ever worked a job.

Farage - we do an enormous amount of business between us, which is mutually beneficial in trade. Don't cut off your noses to spite your faces. Consequences of cutting off trade will be far worse for EU than UK. We'd be better with no deal than a rubbish deal. Let's be pragmatic and sensible and cut a sensible tariff free deal and thereafter recognise that the UK will be your friend, that we will trade iwth you, cooperate with you. But do it sensibly and allow us to go off and pursue our global ambitions and future.

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:32

Marie Le Pen....

The uk leaving is a symbol of liberty and freedom.

I'm loving the guy sitting four rows behind him, who is listening to this garbage through his headphones completely impassively. I bet he plays poker in his spare time...

GingerIvy · 28/06/2016 10:33

Marie Le Pen now. Why are you all getting so het up? this is the most important historic event since the falling of berlin wall.

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:34

The EU has been built on the back of ordinary people

(talks about the shitty stick for Greece and Ireland).

Talks about propaganda that have brought mass industrialisation and immigration.

OP posts:
MrsLupo · 28/06/2016 10:34

God, I do NOT want to be held up as an example of freedom and democracy by MLP...

DoinItFine · 28/06/2016 10:34

God he is such a tosser.

Chalalala · 28/06/2016 10:35

So, Farage's line is: "you're all useless frauds, the EU is a failure and everyone hates you - now please can we have access to your market for nothing in exchange?"

that'll go over well Confused

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:35

Put away your sulky faces. This is a wonderful glowing future.

This shows it is possible to leave.

OP posts:
GingerIvy · 28/06/2016 10:35

this is a victory for democracy and a slap in the face for the EU.

We have seen threats of apocalypse in this chamber and the british saw through that. They are leaving you to your bitterness and feigned indignation.

Britian has been built on the backs of the ordinary people. Austerity has been forced down their throats.

UK has committed the heresy of breaking their chains. EU has been blind for decades making policies, and have been brought back down to reality by a bump.

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:36

says EU is totalitarian.

OP posts:
GingerIvy · 28/06/2016 10:37

if you continue down this totalitarian path, you will collapse.

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:37

DUP

Saying this can not be written.

Says not outcome they wanted, says that the EU turned a blind eye to uks complaints.

Now not the time for kneejerk reaction.

Our country has not given up on Europe.

GingerIvy · 28/06/2016 10:38

Diane Dodd DUP - for years the UK people have been trying to tell you they were unhappy but the EU has turned a deaf ear.

DoinItFine · 28/06/2016 10:38

These are our natural allies now.

Have been for a while.

Cameron moved the Tories into his rightwing conservatives and reformists grouping.

Chalalala · 28/06/2016 10:39

Austerity has been forced down their throats.

This is the strength of Marine Le Pen - unlike most British eurosceptics, she has a left-wing approach to the problem. (mixed with an awful lot of extreme right-wing bullshit)

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:39

Juncker, says after the debate he has learnt something.

You can not leave this up to nationalists. They are not patriots. They are anti-Europeans.

OP posts:
JassyRadlett · 28/06/2016 10:39

RTB huge thanks. God this is painful.

GingerIvy · 28/06/2016 10:40

you cannot leave a country up to it's nationalists, they are against Europe.

RedToothBrush · 28/06/2016 10:40

Had a go at the Greens. says they are full of it in opposition, but when in power do the same as everyone else.

Saying that the uk is `in control of own borders. and that there have been lies over this.

Talking about farage 350million lie again.
