We had a Right Wing group come to Liverpool, they had apparently marched through other cities.
They were met at the train station by a majority of White (not that, that should matter) anti-Fascism protesters, they didn't make it out of the Station and had to get back into the train.
On the second attempt the behaviour by the Police meant that they made over the road and were allowed to pull up cobbles around St Georges hall (and the War Memorial) and throw them at people (seriously injuring a few people). They didn't get to marching level, though.
We need to get involved with counter acting these demonstrations/comments and although we have the right to protest, if those opposing cause enough of a threat of disturbance, then it will be legally disbanded.
Although why the last demonstration were allowed to make threats and cause criminal damage/GBH, still hasn't been fully answered.
On St Georges Day, I commented on every FB post that had the George Cross on that they were marvellous for making fuss of a Syrian born Saint that is recognised throughout the Muslim World. The whole post then disappeared, oddly enough.
