How will you be voting? Can admin add a poll?

Remain

I didn't think I was bothered either way, but the Leave campaign are starting to sound like nutters and the Remain campaign sound kind of neutral mostly, which made me realise I am solidly Remain.

I've got to vote for a PCC before then. Now that's difficult every single candidate appears to be a soulless wanker.

LEAVE

butteredmuffin · 25/04/2016 17:54

Remain

GinIsIn · 25/04/2016 17:58

Stay. Leaving would be catastrophic for the economy and for our position in terms of international relations. The property market and stock market are already feeling damaging ripples at the mere idea of us leaving, for us to reject that stability would be disastrous.

PortiaCastis · 25/04/2016 17:58

Not sure, I am really fed up with the point scoring and scaremongering from both sides. Therefore not yet able to make a decision

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 25/04/2016 19:11

Leave.

SurferJet · 25/04/2016 19:12

Leave.

QueenOfTheWhiteWalkers · 25/04/2016 19:12

Stay!

Muskateersmummy · 25/04/2016 19:19

Stay

lavenderdoilly · 25/04/2016 19:20

Remain. Mrs Hathaway makes a good point.

officerhinrika · 25/04/2016 19:36

Stay!
I think a leave vote will trigger another recession with all sorts of dis-investment, manufacturers for instance transferring to Europe. There really would be no incentive for them to stay.
I value the stability the EU gives us.
As an aside the leave campaign seems to contain members of a club I'd never want to join.

Apologies for multiple post.

tangerino · 25/04/2016 19:39

Stay.

I think most of the supposed benefits of leaving are pie in the sky- if we want any sort of workable trade deal with the EU we'll need to comply with the majority of EU law in any event.

Leaving is likely to damage both our economy and our influence in world affairs.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 25/04/2016 19:45

I think there will be an alrighty global recession we won't be able to avoid whether we are in or out.

I think we'll be a bit more insulated if we aren't embroiled with all the much poorer EU countries who have already been teetering on the edge I,e, greece, Italy. Added to that we've got Turkey and three other poor countries queuing up to join the EU and with all the free movement there will be many thousands immigrating to the UK for a better economic life. Huge strain on our jobs, schools, hospitals, especially if we are in recession.

It really worries me.

Drinkstoomuchcoffee · 25/04/2016 19:53

Stay!

There is a lot of unsubstantiated rubbish coming out on both sides. But the only certainty is that a vote for Brexit will lead to at least two years of uncertainty and chaos which will be bad for all of us. And as Mrs Hathaway points out the Brexiters are a bunch of loons - dangerous loons in some cases.

JosiePye · 25/04/2016 20:28

Remain

Gruffalosgrandma · 25/04/2016 21:58

Leave, because of TTIP

glenthebattleostrich · 25/04/2016 22:00

Leave

magratsflyawayhair · 25/04/2016 22:06

Leave. I don't think ever closer union of an ever larger conglomeration of countries is a good idea. I'd like to be out before it implodes. Also TTIP m.

sonlypuppyfat · 25/04/2016 22:07

Leave

FelicityR313 · 25/04/2016 22:08

I'm to-ing and fro-ing and can't make up my mind!

MrsHathaway · 25/04/2016 22:12

I think some people have missed my point.

Remain sound neutral to me because I'm Remain; Leave sound like loons because I don't agree with them. I can absolutely see that someone already planning to vote Leave would have the opposite experience.

It's worth remarking that if we were currently outside the EU voting on whether or not to join, I probably wouldn't be voting to join. I'm not voting about what would happen in an ideal world, but what is happening in the actual world we inhabit which is a completely different thing.
