Anyone interested in a £300 by Easter ebay selling thread?

Inspired by the threads before Christmas, I was hoping we could get another thread going to motivate us as we sell and ask each other questions as we go along.

I am hoping to start selling again once the dc go back to school next week.

Anyone else want to join me?

Listed another 20 items today so 70 in all Shock. I hope they help me get closer to target.

I think these listings should count towards new thread total.

Any title ideas? Will start thread in the morning.Smile

carrotsandcelery · 09/04/2012 22:07

I am counting these listings in new thread total.

I haven't managed to list any more items. I got sucked into Silent Witness and then it had a really disappointing ending and I wish I had slogged through my ebay stuff instead.

Forgot to find out the ello stuff. Oh well, there will be another chance to list them.
Do my listings and prices look ok? With free listings I worry start price is too high sometimes.

Tortoise · 09/04/2012 22:19

Ebay challenge. Gold make £300, silver £200 and bronze £100. Challenge Ends at start of Olympics.

Does that sound ok as a thread title? Or too long/boring? Lol.

Tortoise Do you mean Meatloaf or should it really be Meatload? You might miss a few searches if it should be Meatloaf.

That is a lot of listings - and nicely ironed clothing too [bugrin]

Oops, see this is why I love this thread. Thanks carrots. Title edited to meatloaf!

Tortoise, Carrots, there are whole websites devoted to eBay listing with incorrect spellings - you can snap up a bargain if someone has spelled an essential name wrong, so no-one else finds it in a search! Have a look at Goofbay and Fatfingers. Meatload, indeed!!

carrotsandcelery · 10/04/2012 10:01

Meatload sounds like a potential pun though - loading you machine with Meatloaf Grin

I miss the bunny emoticons Sad

Iwish I don't make my ebay name public on here as I deal with more private issues due to my ds's mental health problems using this name as well. That said I think I say so much on here anyone who knows me would be able to identify me. I am happy to pm you my ebay name if you want to look at my listings though.

I like the Gold-Silver-Bronze thread title, Tortoise.
70 listings?! Shock. . I've got about 20.
Already got some offers on the whole PCs (listed for 30 days with Best Offer option), so feeling cheerful this morning :).

Moreorganised: I had a look at your listings & they look very good (imho). I guess some of the pictures could look a bit brighter, but it wouldn't make any difference to me if I was shopping.

mygirllollipop · 10/04/2012 11:03

My (net) total for this challenge is £325.82

Have 32 items listed - not very hopeful of big money on those, will count them towards next challenge.
Only got under the older DD's bed and in my wardrobes to de-clutter before our move. Not entirely hopeful that I'll find any ebay items there or that they'll make big money but I just want rid of a lot of stuff.
I'll be going for the bronze challenge then!

mygirllollipop · 10/04/2012 11:04

Oops meant gross total (cba to work out net).

Tortoise · 10/04/2012 15:07

New challenge thread (if link works!)

Tortoise · 10/04/2012 15:10

try again lol!
