We are up to 1000 posts on the other thread, so thought I'd start a new one. And also because as of today my feedback rating is 1000 & I now have a red star

Please keep posting, I love this thread; it's so friendly and interesting!

I hope things go well this morning mogs. dd spied your coat rack on my ebay page this morning and is harping on about it now so you may be in the money Grin

As I said, H&M has more fun boys clothes, although how old is your ds again? My ds is 6 so we can still get some good stuff in there. There are quite a few Norwegian and Swedish designer sites that have some good things but at a price and again, I don't know sizes.

If it makes you feel any better the girls stuff for the inbetween ages (eg between 14 and adult) are rubbish as well - far too revealing and skimpy for a kid who just wants to do cartwheels and bounce on the trampoline!

CristinaaarghdellAaarghPizza · 21/10/2011 09:52

Yes it was mogs! The old stuff I have from Gap is really well made.

Hope P&T situation resolves itself this am.

The buyer of the bastard halloween costume asked if she could come before 5pm today but nothing since. I'm not waiting in all day like she's a courier company or something.

Carrotsandcelery · 21/10/2011 10:17

She can't expect you to stay in all day for 99p Shock

CristinaaarghdellAaarghPizza · 21/10/2011 10:20

:o I have no intention of staying in all day - if she turns up and I'm here, then great, if not, tough.

Carrotsandcelery · 21/10/2011 11:35

Can you leave her a note on ebay explaining that you have some committments today so could she set a more specific time. That way if you are not in then technically it is her fault not yours.

CristinaaarghdellAaarghPizza · 21/10/2011 12:14

Good thinking. I have told her to come before 3pm with cash otherwise I will wait until I get her paypal before posting it.

mogs0 · 21/10/2011 13:34

Well, the P&T buggy is missing somewhere in the Parcel Force blackhole. The lady I booked it through is very confident that it will be found so fingers crossed it doesn't end up permanently lost.

I'll have a look in H&M for clothes. I did get him some shorts from there last Summer that were good. Ds is 9 and still happy-ish for me to choose his clothes for him which makes life a bit cheaper easier.

I can't believe the coat stand is so popular - I wasn't expecting much over the start price.

mogs0 · 21/10/2011 14:39

Sad PF are saying they can't find the buggy and to start a claim for compensation. There's still a bit of hope that it'll be found but I am swaying towards thinking that I'm going to be £100 down. Bugger! I've already mentally spent most of my 'Christmas challenge' money.

I suppose I'll have to make more effort to get more stuff listed Grin.

Mogs good luck with the P&T.

Carrotsandcelery · 21/10/2011 14:54

mogs that is rubbish. I hope it all works out ok in the end. Does the woman remember taking it in? That may help you.

Carrotsandcelery · 21/10/2011 16:12

Hello everyone. Is anyone around? I have a Trespass waterproof jacket listed at £3.99. It has about 4 watchers but I have just been messaged and asked if I would do a buy it now.

It doesn't have a bid yet. Am I allowed to change it to a buy it now?

If so how much should I ask? Is £10 too low/high?

I hope someone is around who can advise!

HalleLouja · 21/10/2011 16:22

When does it finish? Have you had a look at the completed listings to see how much others go?

Am trying to figure out what else to sell. Am putting together a boys bundle to see how it goes. Some Next, Benetton etc. If I get a reasonable amount I might try to do a few of them. We will see.

HalleLouja · 21/10/2011 16:23

I think you can change it to buy it now.

Carrotsandcelery · 21/10/2011 16:28

It finishes on Sunday night at about 8.30/9ish.

I will go and look at completed listings.

Carrotsandcelery · 21/10/2011 16:40

I have added a buy it now option of £9.99 but left the auction option as well. I hope they do buy it as it cost me 15p to add the buy it now option. I presume that option vanishes if anyone just bids auction style.

Halle have you looked at the prices things like Benetton go for on their own? It might be worth looking at before you put it in a bundle.

Tortoise · 21/10/2011 22:51

Disappointed that out of 66 items, just 7 have a bid. Very few watchers too.

Carrotsandcelery · 21/10/2011 23:13

Once again it is the weird stuff that has the watchers. Ds's Le Coq Sportif bobbly tracksuit has 9 Shock

Carrotsandcelery · 21/10/2011 23:21

Oh, now it has 10 watchers and 1 bid. What do you bet it goes for the initial list price?

Tortoise hopefully it will pick up over the weekend. If it is bad weather then you will probably do even better.

Tortoise · 22/10/2011 15:35

Carrots That's what normally happens to me. DSs bed has 9 watchers yet again. Will be flabagasted if it sells!

Hoping for more watchers or bidders before tomorrow night.

Carrotsandcelery · 22/10/2011 19:08

It now has 14 watchers. I can almost guarantee that it will go for the initial list price

I am hoping for a bit of a last minute rush though - fingers very firmly crossed.

The person who asked for a BIN has now bid in the auction instead. That is 15p down the drain! She has only completed 4 transactions though so I don't suppose she realises that she has cost me money.

Has anyone else got any action on their stuff?

JarethTheGoblinKing · 22/10/2011 19:37

Damn it. Playmobil and ebay are a BAD combination - have spent about £20 today on stuff Blush

Mind you, reckon DS could part with 20 of his figures and he'd never even notice, so perhaps I can make it back Grin

Carrotsandcelery · 22/10/2011 22:28

Jareth I have spent virtually the whole day sorting the dcs playmobil stuff. I am Blush that they have so much of it. I dare not look at what they have for sale on ebay - all my winnings would be gone. I think I could take 30 figures and they wouldn't notice. That is how bad it is here Blush Blush

Carrotsandcelery · 22/10/2011 22:31

Oh and the stupid tracksuit now has 17 watchers. What is the big deal with tracksuits?

JarethTheGoblinKing · 22/10/2011 22:47

We have multiple ghost pirates and knights.. I think I'll ask him which ones he wants to sell..
