We are up to 1000 posts on the other thread, so thought I'd start a new one. And also because as of today my feedback rating is 1000 & I now have a red star

Please keep posting, I love this thread; it's so friendly and interesting!

Dumble what age is the brownie top for?

DumbledoresGore · 25/10/2011 16:30

I don't really know claimed. It says 30 inch chest. I know my dd started brownies age 7 in a smaller shirt, then was wearing this one by the time she left age 10 - so maybe 9-10? DD is average height and slim.

Tortoise · 25/10/2011 17:29

How much for the plane? Smile The little bits are a nightmare!

DumbledoresGore · 25/10/2011 17:57

OMG, I just looked up the Playmobil plane on ebay and someone is selling one with similar missing pieces to mine for £25! Shock I don't know, in that case tortoise. I was thinking I might get £10 on a good day, but I think I must have seriously underestimated how much people will pay for playmobil, even when the set is missing pieces. I need to rethink, I think! Grin

Tortoise · 25/10/2011 19:14

Ok, let me know and I will think about it. Bought playmobil pool today! Getting carried away!

JarethTheGoblinKing · 25/10/2011 19:24

mwa ahah ahahaha

The playmobil virus is spreading, I see Wink Grin

Tortoise · 25/10/2011 19:34

Grin It's because DDs have been playing with it the last couple of days and asked for more for Xmas. That's 3 I've bought now!

dizzyday07 · 25/10/2011 19:57

I have a small showjumping set that DD has played with no more than twice - maybe I'll get it listed Hmm

toobreathless · 25/10/2011 19:57

Can't believe how much the playmobile goes for! Can somebody explain the appeal of it? Is it like Lego?? I only have DD (6mo) so not quite at that stage yet.

I listed ten new lots last night. Would link then but I dont know how. I have a non payer from the 18/10 but I had hoped to get a little more for the item so not done anything about it yet.

I sent three items today & my paypal account has reached a grand total of £60 :) now I need to just stop buying things!

JarethTheGoblinKing · 25/10/2011 20:32

I know!

Thing is, any playmobil I buy will go back on eBay as rare in 5 years :)

Tortoise · 25/10/2011 20:40

Dizzy If you sell it, how much would you want for it? DD said she wanted horses!

mogs0 · 25/10/2011 20:50

Woohoo, it looks like the buggy has been found at one of the depots. Someone is phoning to confirm in the morning but hopefully it'll be with the buyer before the end of the week. Unfortunately, I'm away until tomorrow night and can't access my messages on my phone to email the buyer.

Tortoise · 25/10/2011 21:27

Fingers crossed mogs.

HalleLouja · 25/10/2011 22:16

Fingers crossed the buggy has been found mogs.

dizzyday07 · 25/10/2011 22:21

Tortoise - it's this set. There is some damage to a corner of the box lid.

Tortoise · 26/10/2011 09:04

How much please dizzy? Smile

dizzyday07 · 26/10/2011 09:42

I really am open to offers. Hmm

Carrotsandcelery · 26/10/2011 10:22

Mogs I won your rocket storage pockets and laundry bag Grin

HalleLouja · 26/10/2011 10:58

How do you encourage people to leave you feedback. I have been leaving feedback but not getting any back...

fergoose · 26/10/2011 11:13

Honestly? - you don't encourage people to leave feedback. It is voluntary, and if you start emailing and asking for it you may received feedback you don't want.

Many people never leave any.

HalleLouja · 26/10/2011 11:45

Wasn't going to email people - just noticed some people put something in the item description to encourage it. That was all.

HalleLouja · 26/10/2011 11:47

Have 4 watchers on my Hobbs shrug with a slight pull in the fabric here. It is funny what people are after. I have nearly 30 items - I will have over 30 once I list the ones scheduled tonight.

mogs0 · 26/10/2011 15:54

Carrots - yay, I thought it was you!

I've just got home and going to pack up last nights sales.

Parcel force phoned this morning to say it is definitely my buggy and they will deliver it to the buyer tomorrow. I am so relieved and glad that it is not lost forever!

Most of my items have bids, some only 99p but I'll be so glad to get the stuff out of my house, I don't mind if it finishes on 99p (though I'm hoping it goes for slightly more Grin).

I've got friends coming to stay tomorrow so need to tidy the house but if I have a spare hour later I'll get a few things listed. Once school goes back next week, I am going to make much more effort to clear the clutter in this house and if I think something is going to sell for much under £10 then it's going to the charity shop. I've decided I'm not organised enough to keep listing the things that'll go for £1 or £2 - hence why the walls are closing in from too much clutter.

Byeckersiambloodyscarylike · 26/10/2011 15:57

Mogs, i won the coat stand and trousers!

mogs0 · 26/10/2011 16:23

Byeckers - I was trying to figure out who you were on here Grin! I am crap at detective work so had given up, tbh.

I'm just about to pack your parcels and pop to the post office before the last post goes...
