Good luck Tortoise. Friend told me she sold a boxfull of unwanted toys on a 1 day BIN auction, are one day auctions cheaper to list or summat?
Yes that's what happens if an item doesn't arrive; it's more like the seller has to wait 2 weeks to put in their claim, but I think they have like 3 months after sending to claim (off top of head, I could be wrong).
I just need to vent.
So today I shipped a parcel that went just over 6 kg (arrrggggh, but it had to be that heavy to be properly packed, slightly fragile), so I paid #4 more for p+p than I charged. (Sob)
My parcel which is too long I continue to not know how to ship, will pluck up courage to try another courier tomorrow. Thank god the buyer is fine about it.
One buyer (auction finished last weekend) emailed to ask if I preferred cheque, else I'd have to wait until Wednesday (tomorrow) for his Paypal; I wonder what he'll really do.
And the faulty DVD set I sold which had to be returned: to summarise it was faulty, but it came back with even more damage, presumably caused in transit, and they sent it by a gold-plated carrier pigeon, so when I go to relist it, I will be lucky just to cover all the postage costs from the first sale gone wrong. :(
On top of all today that I found out my niece is a heroin addict, which isn't at all surprising but still sad. :( At least I tracked down some other family on Facebook :).
