We are up to 1000 posts on the other thread, so thought I'd start a new one. And also because as of today my feedback rating is 1000 & I now have a red star

Please keep posting, I love this thread; it's so friendly and interesting!

She could say it was not as described and make up any reason by the way, even if it is clearly untrue.

BrianAndHisBalls · 25/11/2011 21:13

That's a very good idea Fergoose, re the pictures, I'll email her that, thank you.

Item not described - I've got the email where she says its because shes changed her mind so hopefully that will be ok.

fergoose · 25/11/2011 21:16

Hope it works out :)

SNOWBall4girlz · 26/11/2011 14:17

bit I do have 18 watchers on my gap kids duffle coat! (this has NEVER hppened before! 18! bid war!! come on! ) :)

Tortoise · 26/11/2011 16:42

Going to start scheduling items soon ready to start them tomorrow night. Got a few pc games ending tonight. As I thought, not much interest but a few have a bid.

Hm forces tank sold on bin, they didn't even bother with the best offer bit! Other bits have watchers.

Tortoise · 26/11/2011 20:59

Nerf guns listed. Decided couldn't be bothered to.schedule them lol. Really tired but need to get more listing done!

Tortoise · 26/11/2011 23:36

Woo hoo! Happy, happy, happy! Big nerf gun listed tonight on auction plus fairly high bin of £35 has been bought already! Grin Great result Grin

mogs0 · 27/11/2011 09:52

That's brilliant, tortoise! I love it when things sells on a BIN.

I have a list of places to go today but am hoping to spend a couple of hours this evening listing a few things...number one on the list is the darn PM mansion...how many weeks have I been threatening to list it?! Hopefully the picture packs will be free too as I have quite a collection of photos of it.

Tortoise · 27/11/2011 10:07

Also got a bid on one of the other nerf guns.Grin

Come on mogs, get that pm listed Grin. Before its too late to make lots if money on it.

dizzyday07 · 27/11/2011 10:24

I've sold quite a few of DD's books over the last couple of weeks - not for very many ££ but probably a little more than I'd get for them at a car book!

Busy this weekend so not got much time to list things. I was going to list a Wii Monopoly game but just found I can get £8.25 trading it in via Amazon so I think I'll do that as it's guaranteed!

Carrotsandcelery · 27/11/2011 11:19

I am very interested to hear about trading things in via Amazon dizzy - how do you do that?

dizzyday07 · 27/11/2011 18:26

carrots - when I was checking out the price of it there was a box that mentioned trade in. There are 3 categories - Like New, Good, and Acceptable. Seems like you click the box, print off the postage label, send off and they send you a gift card. It's a good option if you buy from Amazon - which we do

TeWihara · 27/11/2011 19:01

People who've sold soft toys on eBay - do you get many bids if you start at 99p, or is it best to just list at the price you're happy to sell at?

Carrotsandcelery · 27/11/2011 19:20

Dizzy thank you! I am off for a nosey. That could make us a small fortune!

Carrotsandcelery · 27/11/2011 19:23

dizzy I have had a look. It looks too easy to be true! The prices are better than I have got on ebay so far too. Yay! Thank you dizzy. Now I just need to figure out how to print a postage label!

mogs0 · 27/11/2011 19:56

PM mansion finally listed but haven't done as good a job as I'd have liked. Hopefully, if I have time during the week, I'll revise it and add better photos and description.

Why do free-listing weekends end up being more crazy and manic leaving not enough time to list anywhere near the amount of things that you'd like to?!

TeWihara · 27/11/2011 20:02

this week's listings! Only about £20 worth but it's mostly the space I want at this point. Shame I still need all the baby stuff or it would be straight on there!

I know what you mean about free listing weekends always being crazy mogs. Didn't get a chance to sort out a couple of bits I meant to list, but ah well.

notcitrus · 27/11/2011 21:18

SNOWball - I had a look at your lsitings and there's what look like two identical bras at the end, only with no size given in the title (which is what people search for), and says size 8 years (!) in the listing! And then says htere's video in the description which can't be shown.
Also I think the brand is Charnos not Chanos?

If you fix those then hopefully they;ll do well.

just ploughing through relisting all my unsold junk.

Carrotsandcelery · 27/11/2011 21:53

I have neither the time nor the energy to list new things so I have just relisted all my unsold items. Not much of my stuff sold this week. I sold a pair of jeans for £10 and that was it.

The charity listings did a bit better with 4 items selling and mild bidding wars on 2 of them. It only made £14 this week though. I am only allowed to list 10 items this month though so can only relist 3 things I think. Very frustrating when listings are free and they are all written up already.

I think I would be doing better if I had toys to sell but even the wii game I hav listed isn't shifting.

Crazybit · 27/11/2011 22:31

here is my offerings for today. i can't wait to get rid of everything so I don't need to do it anymore, it's so stressful wondering if people have got the items...and if they're happy with them or not.

TeWihara · 27/11/2011 22:55

Added DH's old phone to our listings above. 'tis a bargain!

TeWihara · 27/11/2011 22:56

Oh, btw - has anyone noticed not getting much feedback this week? It's very odd - most people the week before gave us feedback, this week only a few people did.

I don't really mind, just wondered if in the christmas rush everyone forgets about it.

Crazybit · 27/11/2011 23:41

Yup, I've noticed that i'm not getting much feedback.

dizzyday07 · 28/11/2011 00:01

I'm not getting feedback either! here are my listings.
