TTC with a donor

So, I met my donor today. Didn't get arrested. Woohoo. Please keep everything crossed for me.

I did a test this morning and again I don’t know where to start, nothing came up, so I binned the test. But when I emptied the bin it fell out and I swear I could see a faint line! I honestly think I’ve gone bat shit crazy this month. What’s an evap line? Does this look like one? Can you even see the faintest of line?

I can see something @KLO0224 evaps are usually grey but that line is too feint to tell if it has any colour. Some people get stronger lines in the afternoon so maybe test again later?

I might just wait for a few days, I don’t want to get my hopes up. I’ve ordered some first response tests, they will arrive Friday. So if I haven’t come on by then I will do another test. My sister is convinced it’s positive but she’s an optimist and wants me to get pregnant as much as I do 😂

It certainly looks like the first line I got on a cheap stick test @KLO0224.

The bottom test was the first hint of a line and the top one was the following morning.

I understand you wanting to wait and not raise your hopes. I so hope this is it for you though. That said, if it is you’re not allowed to ditch me just because you got your BFP!!

I feel crappy as if AF is on her way so I think it was just an evap line.

Lots of women say they felt like aaF was on the way when they got their BFP. You’re not out until the witch shows. Try to keep the faith, though I know it’s hard as there is a fine line between trying to hold on to the hope and not letting yourself get too carried away. Fingers still crossed for you @KLO0224

I couldn’t wait a few more days, I did a test this morning although not with first wee. The line appears a little darker but not much. Will test with first response when they arrive.

That looks significantly darker to me @KLO0224 especially as it doesn’t even look like it’s dried properly.

The weekend @KLO0224? 😮 how on earth do you expect me to wait that long for an answer?? And come one now, do you honestly expect me to believe you won’t test again before the weekend? Hmmmmm 🤔

I’m currently at work, experiencing period pains and a little discolour when I wipe. Think I’m out unfortunately.

No AF this morning, no discolouration when wiping. But still cramping. I’ve just taken another HPT and the lines still there and maybe looks a little darker than yesterday?

That looks like a positive sign to me. It's getting darker and those tests aren't the most sensitive.

I had a chemical last March/ April too. I had positive tests for about 4 days; got a pregnant 1-2 on a weeks indicator. Then I didn't test for about 3 days until I took a reassurance test and it was really faint. I took my second clear blue the next day with FMU and it said not pregnant. I started bleeding several days later, about a week late for my period.

Cramping in early pregnancy is really normal. So is spotting.

Thing is, there is nothing that anyone can do at this point. EPU won't scan until 6 weeks as there is nothing to see until then. I'm considering contacting my GP if I get another BFP because there are conditions that affect implantation and I've had two chemicals since I've been TTC.

That line is definitely darker @KLO0224 I did think that the discolour could be implantation but I didn’t want to say that and get your hopes up. Cramping can be perfectly normal.

When I had my chemical I got a positive and then a couple of days later it was noticeably lighter and I started bleeding 3 days later. The top test was the first one and the second was 3 days later.

I think this could be it for you.

Thank you ladies, I still don’t want to get my hopes up. Il test at the weekend and then I’m going to try and forget about it for a few weeks- already I can see that will be easier said than done.
I have no control over any of it so I just need to relax and go with the flow. I have some well earned and needed annual leave coming up so I will busy myself with something to keep me preoccupied!
I will let you know what the weekend test says or whether AF arrives.

Thought I would give you an update, we did the first response test last night and it was positive, however this morning I’ve woke up and I’m bleeding, so looks like it was a chemical pregnancy after all!

I’m so sorry @KLO0224 all you can do is wait and see what happens at this point which stinks. I’ve read of women who have quite heavy bleeds and still go on to have healthy babies. I don’t want to give you false hope but fingers crossed this is the case for you.

See what happens with the bleeding and test again in a couple of days to see if it’s any darker. If it is a chemical it will have gotten lighter. I got a positive on FRER on Thursday, Friday morning I got a 1-2 weeks on a clearblue digital then tested again on Monday morning expecting a much darker line but it was lighter and my clearblue said not pregnant. Hopefully this won’t be the case for you.
