Aww ttc sorry for your bfn, it really does suck. Hope you are doing ok.

tiny the waiting around after miscarriage is awful, good that you are going to get seen and hopefully get some answers. I had blood taken on Friday and levels had dropped to around 30 but still not negative so back again on Friday 😟.

Hi closephine welcome to the thread. There really is no way of knowing unfortunately. We have had people who have been successful on their 1st and 2nd tries and then others who have had many cycles and no success. Also many decide to move to ivf after a few tries so difficult to know if we would have been successful if we continued with iui. It's a good sign that you have been pregnant before, hopefully this is your cycle but if not I hope you get bfp soon.

Welcome Closephine

Bear It's taking bloody ages, bean stopped growing almost 7 weeks ago, found out about it almost 6 weeks ago, passed the sac and embryo 3 weeks ago and body still not back to normal. Glad your levels are dropping. I'm hoping they do a quantitative blood test as well as the scan and I'm praying there's no retained products as I really really don't want to go through any more intervention. It's so bizarre to be desperately hoping for a BFN after yearning for a BFP for so long. I hope you get your BFN soon. I'm mildly anaemic now too after all the blood loss so feeling a bit sorry for myself.

Thanks LRD, hope you're doing good.

Welcome Closephine

So sorry Tiny I hope you get sorted soon Thanks

We took delivery of first batch of drugs today and we are at clinic on Thursday for me to have the implant fitted. It's a very odd feeling having a contraceptive device fitted in order to try to get pregnant! Every time I go to the loo I am praying AF hasn't arrived as we'd have to wait until next month if it does before Thursday and it's been soooooo long to get to this point

We have also gone ahead and written our letter of complaint to original clinic, have received confirmation they received it and are investigating further

This shit finally just got real for us!

Thanks for the welcome :)

Sorry to hear about everyone’s struggles.

Good luck with your cycle lovely - have you done your 3 cycles back to back? I can’t decise whether to take a break for a month or go straight to the next one.

Bear and Tiny it sounds like you’re going through it Flowers

I had another Not Pregnant this morning. My DH bought clearblue digis and although I know they’re not very sensitive I think with remnants of trigger and based on when I thought I’d implanted there should be enough HCG for one by now if it had worked. I’m 12dpo today. So no idea what those pains were!

tiny I hope it is just slow dropping hcg and will sort itself out for you in time. Let me know how you get on at epu. It's so frustrating and really difficult to start to heal and move on when it still feels unfinished.

Thanks closaphine, my clinic makes me wait a month in between cycles which is probably a good thing to get your head straight but annoying at the time!
Feeling oddly positive this cycle, we'll see!!
Sorry to others with the continued symptoms post miscarriages - think any miscarriage is awful but seems especially cruel when it's drawn out like this.

Spent more than 2 hours at EPU today, still testing positive for pregnancy tests, thankfully no retained products on scan but they did find a cyst on my right ovary that wasn't there 4 weeks ago. EPU are not concerned about it and think it shouldn't stop me from trying again but I'm worried the fertility clinic may cancel my next cycle if it's still there then. I did ask for follow up but EPU said no follow up as it's smaller than 5cm. I'm to take another pregnancy test in a week, fingers crossed it's negative!

Glad no retained products tiny, fingers crossed that the cyst settles down quickly...

Oh, tiny, that sounds like a rough day! Not least being in the EPU, which must feel very difficult.

I do believe cysts that small generally do pass on their own. I've been told there's some slight evidence that IUI medications encourage cysts, though. Here's hoping yours is gone very soon.

Good news that no retained products tiny, hopefully you will get bfn next week.

Hi all,
Hope everyone is doing well. Haven't been on in a while and a huge amount of posts since last time- forgive me if I read them tomorrow as off to bed but just wanted to ask a quick question. I just got my prescription and has anyone had to take Decapeptyl SR with their treatment? If so what does it do and at what point do you take it? Thanks

Just to let you know you're coming to max thread size so someone will need to make a continuation one as don't think Kwick really comes on anymore so wouldn't want it to end... I have no idea how to or to link but someone may need to

Hi mandy - sorry I'm not sure what they'd be using that for.
Thanks pickle - I don't know how to make new threads, hopefully someone else does?!!
Scan tomorrow to check on follicle growth, not sure what they do re scans/treatment on bank holidays if needed - will have to see.
