I am good thanks pickle just busy at work just now and a few changes happening. Fingers crossed she doesn't keep you waiting too much longer 😀

TinyPaws · 18/04/2018 16:02

I had bad news today. I should be 8 weeks but it seems the baby stopped developing at approximately 6 weeks. No signs of a natural miscarriage yet, waiting for it to start. We're both feeling very sad.

Zoo33 · 18/04/2018 16:36

Oh @TinyPaws I'm so sorry. I've been there and it's truly awful. Thanks

pickle162 · 18/04/2018 19:11

I'm so sorry for your loss Tiny

Tiny/everyone I hope you don't think this is insensitive.

My little miss arrived this morning about back to back continuous contractions. Waters broke in the middle of the night: needed a few stitches but jeez it was the worst pain I have ever experienced in my whole entire life but she is amazing

Congrats pickle, she's a cutie.

Not insensitive, I feel awfully unhappy either way but life goes on and it's nice to hear good news.

LRDtheFeministDragon · 19/04/2018 09:46

Oh, tiny. I am so very sorry. Much love to you and your partner.

LRDtheFeministDragon · 19/04/2018 09:47

GingerSnapp · 20/04/2018 13:36

Congratulations Pickle! What amazing news. Enjoy this wonderful time.

Tiny, hope you are getting on ok. I'm so sorry you have had to go through this. Thinking of you.

We had a unexpected development this morning. Just 8 days past IUI, DP's pain intensified, and resulted in really horrific sickness the past 12 hours so we saw our GP, who insisted doing a pregnancy test early. This turned out to be BFN, and sitting in the doctors surgery was NOT how we had planned to get this news. I know it can be too early to tell, but it has really hit hard. And now DP is so ill, I'm starting to think there's no way it will have worked anyway. Feeling a bit upskittled as a result.

TreasureInMyTummy · 20/04/2018 21:51

Pickle congratulations! I've lost how to get to personal messages so couldn't email back . Glad she has safely been delivered. Xx

Tiny my thoughts are with you, I hope you have lots of family/ friends / support around you, do come on here too. Quite a few of us can relate, sympathise and he here for you xx

TinyPaws · 20/04/2018 21:59

Thanks for the sympathies ladies. I'm concentrating on dealing with the physical aspects of miscarrying for now, there are times when I feel very sad, in between these I feel OK. My partner is grieving too.

The desire to have a baby is still as strong as ever so I suspect I'll be back on this thread in earnest in a few months.

Ttc2017 · 21/04/2018 18:59

Sorry to hear your news ginger snap did the gp give any insight into much? Crossing my fingers for you you not out the game just yet will you test again in few days x

Ttc2017 · 21/04/2018 19:27

I stopped norethisterone on weds so hoping af comes soon then I can book next baseline scan

GingerSnapp · 23/04/2018 13:02

Thanks ttc, GP just said it might be a flu type thing and that the timing was just bad luck. Clinic said shouldn't be a sign of bad side affects, and they tried to assure us the it was too early for the test anyway. Still not got hopes up too much for Thursday (otd). But you never know!

Hoping af shows up for you as planned!

LRDtheFeministDragon · 23/04/2018 23:06

Sorry to hear this, ginger.

tiny, I will be thinking of you and your partner. I think this sort of grief is uniquely lonely - people don't know about it, yet it's such a visceral loss. Much strength to you both.

Ttc2017 · 24/04/2018 22:59

I started the gonal f pen tonight but when I took it out the liquid seemed to leak out with a bit of blood to now I'm worried if I got enough of the dose as my dose has been increased from last month as I didn't respond last month x also it says keep in fridge but I'm going away at weekends and no fridge nurse wasn't sure but she goggled it and it said it is OK room temp up to 25 degrees any one else used there's room temp lrd was it you who had this same problem? X

LRDtheFeministDragon · 25/04/2018 11:56

Yeah, it does that to me sometimes. I asked and they said it's fine.

I had the fridge question too, you're right - apparently it's fine out of the fridge, but just doesn't last so long. If, like me, you might keep the same pen over two months, you might not want to keep it out of the fridge. But if you'll use it all in a few days I think it's fine. What you ideally don't want is lots of changes of temperature for medicine, but again, when I asked about it they said this is really only relevant if you're thinking of keeping the same pen going for ages.

GingerSnapp · 25/04/2018 12:21

DP had some very light spotting yesterday. Nothing today. OTD is tomorrow. Feeling nervous as reading lots about implantation vs early signs of period. Is is possible to get your period when taking progesterone?

Ttc2017 · 25/04/2018 22:05

Thanks lrd I had put mine back in fridge for now but do you think I should keep at room temperature all the time so not just over the weekend? So stressful knowing what to do for the best. Really hope they have put it high enough as the nurse didn't seem sure how high to go and asked me and I said I didn't want to choose I would trust there judgement. Don't want to waste another cycle not responding and getting another bleed. How did you get on at you still in tww?

Ginger finger crossed for that it is implantation I'm sorry I have no idea about period and progesterone xx

GingerSnapp · 26/04/2018 10:44

OTD today, and another BFN. Saw this coming after the mad week we've had, but still pretty gutted. Next stop is to make an appointment with clinic doctor to discuss IVF as an alternative. We are only 2 x stimulated IUIs in, but worrying about financial pressures of many more.

Turns out you can still get AF on progesterone. What a bitch.

Cutesbabasmummy · 26/04/2018 12:35

tiny so sorry to hear that. Pickle she's beautiful, congratulations x

TreasureInMyTummy · 26/04/2018 21:54

Hello I've been flicking on and off to see if Kwick has posted recently? Has anybody heard from her?

@kwick miss you, hope all well x
